A few of us in the central U.S. observed that some kind of central altar seems to be very common at North American psy parties but not so prevalent in Europe.
I was wondering: do you often see or not see a central altar at parties in Europe, Japan, South Africa, Australia, or elsewhere, or is this not a regional pattern at all?

Sometimes I feel that people are living in a different reality. They're stuck inside a dreamworld where only psytrance and psytrance related stuff is going on, a prolonged drugtrip if you will. These people must obviously be using a LOT of drugs to come up with the stupid nonsense topics that have been popping up at this forum lately. I'm curious, does no one else notice this? Am I the only one still acting normal? This music must have invaded your life to be thinking about it all the time...
On that note: answer some questions for me (why?? because I'm curious... as good a reason as any isn't it?)
1. When you take a dump, do you look inside the pot afterwards and see a chakra inside your shit?? Or maybe Simon Posford's face?
2. When you go to bed, do you crawl under your dark-psy blankets or your full-on morning blankets??
3. When you take a loaf of bread do you see Skazi's face inside it? Just like some people claim to see Jesus his face in a pizza??
4. How do you people come up with all these stupid topics?? Tell me, because I want to join... It would be so nice to just post away with stupid psytrance related topics and annoy the hell out of people...
Hehehe, that's it. Oblige me will you? And I hope people will read this before it gets deleted by some moderator. (Although with the pace they've been holding up lately it'll be on for two days at least)
There's some hidden meaning behind all this nonsense I've written as well. See if you can find it. It's hidden between the words. A code, if you will. Try it. It might waste your time, then again: it might not. Maybe it's enlightening.

No I mean an altar with religious statuary, flowers, incense, malas, sacred imagery. It could be a table or just a box covered with cloth. |

i personally saw this too in the usa.... i dont get it. i dont think religion has any connection.. but i suppose if the organizers are religious they can do what they want.

We were having a discussion on another board about someone who goes to europe parties and never sees dj altars but we have them here.
An altar does not have to be religious but can be just something decorative with candles and stuff.
Different things for different folks
