Looks like it is just the remixes http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=7838
does not say on Saiko or Arabesque that it is 2 cd at all.
I would say that Avatar got the rights to remaster and reissue the original, LSD are cashing in on the remixes

hmmm, so Avatar release the re mastered original, and Dragonfly the new mixes, a good compromise I suppose . Has anyone bought the Avatar release yet to compare to the original, I'm curious as I don't see how you can compare mp3 samples on a website. At the top of the page on Psyshop it says it's re-mastered. |

I'd say it's still likely to be a 2 CD pacakge with the original as it claims to be "remixed and remastered".
Would they bother to say it's remastered if all the tracks have never been released before? |

"remastered remixes" is possible obviously but I wouldn't have thought they'd bother to mention it. It's the remixes I want anway as I've already got the Nova Tekk version of the original release.
We will no doubt see when it's released! |

Saiksounds and Arabesque always accurately state if a package is single or 2 discs.
On top of which if you read the blurb it says the remixes were done at the same time as the original but never made it to a release.
I'd say this is why they have been remastered.
Why would they release the original again if Avatar has the rights to it?
In this day and age of cd sale slumps people are more likely to go for something new or unreleased than for something pre-released.
I am sure it is just the 1 cd, maybe MR LSD records can cmehere and confirm?

Yeah Arabesque should be accurate as they are the distributor. Probably will be a single CD otherwise Avatar will be a bit unhappy! |
