Can we trust Beatport chart?

I recently noticed that a lot of very fresh and young labels, in different styles, trance, minimal, tech house, etc... with new artists, gets their releases very well-charted in 1 day, and this without any banner or any featuring in the main Beatport genre pages.
Above all, in the area : “the users also buy this”, just below the tracks you can buy, there is either nothing else than this release, or same label others related releases...very strange!
So I was wondering if it’s possible to buy 100 times a track with one account, or to ask 10 friends to buy 10 times a track, and then be charted?
If it’s the case, I guess I will launch a new label tomorrow

maybe maybe not, but tell those new labels/artist, are indeed good music?????
how do you know they are new????

You'd need a lot more than 100 downloads to get in the main beatport chart.
Some labels do 1-2 week exclusives with Beatport, just to get the track in the charts.

my two cents........before we had the ridiculous criticizers in the mags in media in general that didnt say nothing informative to get you buying the album....
now in a sea more and more overpopulated we have the RIDICULOUS,the undescribable:
vote for me on last.fm,vote for me in beatport awards,vote for me at you mums funeral,vote for me for getting gigs......
no ,beatport is a big dish....of school food |

Just buy music you like... Don't waste time on charts that show what "most people" like.
Anyone know a word for music "most people" like?
Anyway... You can't base a label around being on beatport charts no matter what, so who cares how they run the site.
