India is the land of Patanjali, Gandhi, Paramahansa Yogananda, Sri Yukteswar, Lahiri Mahasaya, Babaji, Yoga, Devas, Mantras, Krsna, Gurus, Self Realization, and a long etc.
So what's going on?
Doesn't this tell you something?
Will you let ayvidia win? If so for how long?
Do we want to have a respectful englightening constructive dialogue? or just get thread through thread locked?

Ok, what is spirituality? India is the queen at that, although spirituality is something inherent to all the world's civilizations.
The world of spirit can't be felt with the senses, that's why in Yoga this world, the physical plane is called Maia the cosmic delusion, although the astral and the causal plane are part of Maia as well, they are more subtle than this one, Yoga is the art of removing the energy from the senses to focus it on the dorsal spine in order to raise the kundalini from muladara to ajna chakra, when energy is removed from the 5th senses and they are disconnected intuition or 6th sense awakes, is in this way that the veil of Maia can be broken.
It is something that takes hard work and discipline, first you need to develop the habit of meditation, and you need to do it for some time on a regular basis to start awakening, maia on the other hand creates cheap copies of the nectar found in meditation like drugs or even ritual plants, people can be fooled into having awesome psychedelic experiences with these things, but they can't be compared to the essence of spirit.
Yoga is one of the most advanced disciplines to raise human consciousness, burn karma and remove the veil of illusion, that is the reason it is called the sacred science, there are many paths in yoga.
Bakhti Yoga or Devotion
Jhanna Yoga or Introspection/Meditation
Karma Yoga or Unselfish action
And Raja Yoga, which means Royal Yoga, the path that combines all the previous ones.
And there is a more advanced Kind of Raja Yoga called Kriya Yoga, that's the most powerful and advanced meditation technique that exists, with such a technique, the supraconsciousness state is easily attainable even in one life compared to other techniques that can millions of incarnations.
The supraconsciousness state is reached when the advanced yogi obtains such a degree of relaxation, that his heart stops and he can stop breathing as well, when the yogi enters into such state he is able to cross over the akna chakra and enter the astral plane or the causal plane for some of the most advanced yogis.
The whole purpose of Yoga, is to develop the sublime willpower found in men to finish this cosmic game and attain kayvalia.
Kaivalya, which is the ultimate goal of yoga, means solitariness or detachment.
The 34 Yoga Sutras of Patanjali of the fourth chapter deals with impressions left by our endless cycles of birth and the rationale behind the necessity of erasing such impressions. It portrays the yogi, who has attained kaivalya, as an entity who has gained independence from all bondages and achieved the absolute true consciousness or ritambhara prajna described in the Samadhi Pada.

maya is a tricky thing .. have u conquered it yet ? I`d like to .. but every time i see a real pretty girl , I`l like to bone her .. see a pretty car , like to own her .. what should i do ? |

if I had conquered it I wouldn't be here, but that doesn't mean I'll let her win without an spiritual fight first at least!!!
The more you meditate, the less you feel interested to those things, meditation is the conch shell that krishna and arjuna blow in the bhagavad gita to arise the warriors of light, of self control, inner peace, extreme disspation for material things and many others.
Yoga is a powerful tool indeed, and kriya is much more powerful, it is said that every kriya is equal to one year of spiritual evolution, that is why it's possible to attain Kaivalya in one life with it, that is if you do it everyday for a long time, and it is a snow ball, because the more you meditate and progress spiritually, the more you want to continue meditating, and the more you feel the inner world is real while the outer is not.
There are several powerful enemies to face, one is the force of maia, that which creates war, hate, darkness and disonance, contrary to the force of spirit that creates peace, love, light and harmony, and you have also a very powerful enemy inside you, Bhishma or Ego.
Ego is the pseudosoul, or the soul identified with the body and the 5 senses, whenever he feels he is loosing the battle he will try to fool manas (your mind) in order to kidnap your bodily kingdom again.
Manas in the bhagavad gita is represented as Drhitarashtra, the blind king, because the mind is blind per-se and that's the reason it needs the senses to guide herself, Duryodhana, the eldest child of Dhritarasthra who symbolises material desire is who reigns in his place.
That's what the bhagavad gita is about it is a guide to raise the light warriors within you (the pandus) and help you beat the forces of ignorance (the kurus)
The battle of kurukshetras is nothing else, but the inner battle that you have against King soul vs Rebel King ego, this battle is fought in 3 levels.
On the physical plane where you have to try to control yourself from doing evil or selfish things.
During meditation where the kurus will attactk you with thoughts that will break your concentration
and in the highest level in deep meditation where soul is struggling to get finally rid of his lower ego nature.
There are several ways to protect yourself against these enemies.
Meditation which will naturally make you stronger and more aware.
Mantras and affirmations which will strenghten your subconscious mind or your supraconscious mind if they are chanted or repeated with true bhakti (devotion)
A mantra or an affirmation chanted with true bkhati, can also invocate one deva or mahadeva to come to your aid.
Your Guru will be your protector and preceptor as well, always giving you advice and sending you his vibes, be it in this plane or from the astral/causal.
all this is internal, because it is something that emerges from the inner self, which will become more developed and more aware the more you meditate. Peace, Love, Light and Harmony |

Forza. No offence and all, but you're talk's really beginning to sound like pop spirituality. Nothing that wikipedia wouldn't say. Do you think it's worth all the trouble? Do you think that's air you're breathing?

n those who continuosly watch practioners , begin their journey towards perfection .....
either ur in or out ... there is no where in between .... its only bigger myth n reflection of ur consicousness whichleads u in questions like who? why? how? when? etc. etc. ..........
FORZA is so right n true in what he is tryin to let all of us knw .....
he is trying to convey a msg in each of his post or thread n yes that msg is so true......
it will take time to realize but whn it happens it will last forever ....
