Yes, you could move to Africa and realize it's much worse than watching re-runs of Desperate Housewives.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

me and some guys rana gig a few years back here to rais money for the Cerebral Palsy charity... we found out pretty quickly that opsy tranc epoeple do not want to donate money to such causes and the gig was cancelled...

surprise surprise we later put on a a heavy metal gig where all the money went to the same cause, not only did 90% of the crowd happily pay the $45.00 ticket fee (70% went to the charity from each ticket) but many took the opportunity to make further conations to the charity, and we ran out of the info booklets which we were giving for free as well...

so it seem the PLUR culture in psy sucked, yet it was much more prevelant in the death/black metal culture!?

hmmmmm intersting eh?           --- Love In Light, Dance In Darkness ---

^

Maybe the number of death/black metal fans is more than psytrance fans. Im not sure. But most of the people don't even know what psytrance is, eventhough they live in countries with a good and active psytrance scene.

Rgding ^ , Just think how easily life can be taken away from us at any moment and then you can see living in this world more precious than above description.

Isn't this a part of why the world pretty much sucks? Hunger, war, hate, capetalism (or what ever word you'd like to put on it, not that communism is any better [in parcsis] - But I'm talking about raping varies for profit, be it health care, nature, animals or whatever.), pollution, ego, Ignorence, brainwashing (here's American Gladiators, sit down, shut up and dont think, let us, the goverment think for you) and on and on.

But then again, my life is Great compared to millions and millions of people with Real needs and problems. But when I look outside my self and my happy me, I see a world of desperate needs of urgan changes. .. Or maybe we'll just let survival of the fittest animal run strong and clear off all weak people, weak contrious. .. tsk

+1
...and one path to cessation of suffering is the psychedelic trance dance experience. The cessation of suffering comes from the understanding of the inner self, from ego-nullification and experience of the great "inter-connectedness" of everything.
I definitely think that psychedelic experiences can strongly support spiritual enlightenment.
The "terrapark" in which we live in is an infinite illusion. Our brain mixes all the data it creates by communicating with "the outer world" and invents "reality".
Reality is nothing substantial but merely a mental thing.

...and as consciousness is the very center, the very origin of everything, well then it´s obvious that expanding it via psychedelic experiences turns out to be a serious way to bring more understanding and peace to our world

Yes, but not suprising. BM has always been a caring and social aware scene as far as I can remember

This psychedelic PLUR scene should of course be Number 1 at this, but hmm..

I think that helping with money is good but will never solve anything....actually its tha main cause for soo much illness in the world....

the big difference in my opinion is, (relating to the quoted answer) to be able to help physically and mentally people with disabilities....for example....offer your good will and postive feelings rather than money left for someone else to act upon...this very idea is what will preclude any decisive change.....

I respect more people doing voluntary work in communities than bono raising billions!!!

I also would like to know exactly how you found out that psy people were not ready to donate?

my 2 cents...heheh

Good will and positive vibe ain;t gonna pay for $2,000-8,000 wheelchair or scooter is it?

all the money went directly to financing mean for children adults to become more mobile and therefore increas their quality of life.

And seeing as I've worked for the last 10 years in the disability field, my partner of 10 years has cerebral palsy and my nephew has another severe degenerative diability, I know that moneyh makes a fuck load more difference than a kiss and hug.

Who else will pay for the surgery bills? the wheelchairs? the car modifications? the physiotherapy? the personal carers that cost $20+ an hour? the nurses? the doctors? the additional travel costs to go overseas? the ramps, lifts and other enehancements to the house?

I just had to pay $8,000 for my partners new dscooter, plus $400 each for two batteries for it, plus $600 for the battery charger. She needs this about 3-5 years.

Having a disbaility is damn expensive, and most of them would prefer the financial aid to your goodiwl and postive vibes mate           --- Love In Light, Dance In Darkness ---

oh and I found out psy people didn't want to donate when was at another gig and asked numerous people why they didn't show interest. They said that the psy scene is about having a good time and creaitng positive vibes, They said a chairty case focusses on the negative aspects on life and should not be a part of our scene. This came from a sample of at least 100 dedicated psy people.

PLUR

whereas the metal heads all said they reckon the gig was an awesome idea and they would happily donate their hard earned cash to a good cause...

If the world was a village:

If the whole world was reduced to a village with 100 inhabitants and every proportions was the same the village would look like;

57 asians
21 europeans
14 americans (from North- and Southamerica)
8 african's

52 is women
48 men

70 nonchristian's
30 christian's

89 straight
11 homo's

6 persons would have and use 59% of all common assets and those 6 came from the US

80 had problems with the farming
70 couldn't read
50 was underfed, 1 was dying, 2 was newborned, 1 owns a PC and only 1 has an academic exam...

Don't know if this is accurate numbers since I got it from a friend... ...and the translation probably sucks bigtime also since it was written in Swedish first and I'm not a good translator... anyway... try to have this in perspective when you think of the situation in the world...

IMO some ppl should learn to see further than their long nose is short...

this was also written:

If you have food in your fridge, a job, a roof over your head and a bed, you are richer then 75% of the population on the earth.

If you have an bankaccount, some money on the stockmarket and some smallchange at home... you're one of the 8% of the richest in the world...

If this is true or not I dunno... but it's worth thinking of anyway... Your Illusional world might be nice but wake up and smell the flowers of the real...           https://www.facebook.com/pages/Toxic-Anger-Syndrome/92541329414

You are so welcome I'm glad that 1 of the points with that "calculation" struck you. It is meaning that you shall feel happy if you are among those 25% or 8% that has it good compared to the others...           https://www.facebook.com/pages/Toxic-Anger-Syndrome/92541329414
