We need .WAV, at LOWER THAN CD prices... now!

Digital was supposed to bring us more music, not less!

I bought the entire new Rip Van Hippy album as .WAV for fairly cheap. I think 8pounds. The price per track was spendy, but if you bought the entire album, it was about half the price.

I <3 Rip Van Hippy.           nlm - http://goaconstrictor.com v4.2

i don't mind paying 3 or 4 bucks for a wav if it's a track i really want/want to spin. beats paying 15 bucks for the whole cd when there's only one decent track on it and the rest are shit (which is the story of 99% of VAs ever).

Agree on that. There are very few albums that have more than 2-3 decent tracks...I prefer to buy few of them instead of the entire cd..

Downloaded and burned on your PC wave, it's not the same as original CD. Ever wondered why on the party some tracks got skeept/jumped? Everyone looking at the dj, but he just make stupid smile and blame CD player.....well, in most cases it has nothing to do with CD player at all, those burned CD's got plenty of errors and let's say cheap CD player is more sensitive to them. So buy original CD's and support the Artists/Labels <-- they do really hard job to deliver music for you!

24-Bit WAV file discussion:
http://forum.isratrance.com/is-there-any-demand-for-24-bit-wav-files/

wi']['ch, I think the problem you describe is more a matter of poor quality CD media or a rushed burn than anything else. Sometimes bad equipment plays a role (some very low-end CD decks aren't very adept at reading burned CDs, true enough). Burn CDs properly at low speeds with quality media and issues of this nature are unlikely to come up.

Nothing will ever beat CDs

they said the same about vinyls

and vinyls is still there, less in psychedelic trance but other electronic music styles where scratching appears like drum'n base, ragga, hip hop, and even non scratching like tech house etc is still mostly vinyl imo...

the future is vynil via traktor scratch, serato etc.

Buy wavs play them as vynil.
