It is his side project.We got to see him this last weekend at our Astrix party.
He will be releasing some stuff locally pretty soon. |

YEah...its great here in Cape Town.....The scene the music!...its all good!
Whats even better ....is that if u move in these circles u get to know most of the producers....which helps a lot, as most are willing to help and give advice on production.

Broken Toy is defintely on the cutting edge of hard techy psy here in cape town. He is coming out with fresh beats with every new tune he writes and I'm still trying to figure out how he gets his tracks to sound so damn clean and dirty at the same time!

damage and broken toy are making the some of the best music in the world right now. On every compo they're on, theirs is usually the best track and the reasons are not hard to figure. Their music is original (I am so tired of that cookie cutter sub-gms shit that far too many ppl are making), it's a brilliant mix of the dark and the light and, most importantly, it's as funky as fuck. And they have really excellent samples. Totally witty and cool. Keep it coming James! |
