first I'M NOT from Goodmood or am in anyway connected to Boom's Org...
this said,and regarding your question:
@Boom 2000,I questioned someone who was working at the festival about Boom Money...and was told that indeed one of the reasons for it's existence is precisely to get a better control over how much money were the food outlets making since they had to pay a percentage(have no idea on what percentage!!)to the organisers and if they used regular money there would be no control at all...

Boom is a great Festival, and from the organizers point of view, a gold mine. Personally I don't give a shit. They work hard, and provide a good festival (despite the sound problems), so they deserve the (huge) profit they get. Or do you believe it's all about the spirit?? LOL

Let's say you have a food tent at Boom and you have to pay 25% of what you make to Boom Org...
with Euro or other currency you can report,let's say 2000€...and pay 500€ to the Org.But in fact you've earned 3000€ and should have payed 750€....
with Boom money....
quite simple....

good mood charge 20% for the food tent.and the boom money is to controlle wht they sell and fore sure a comercial strategy becouse evryone took at least one boom money home and now its just making the counts to see how mutch they won with tht.

Quite interesting, because some friends have said to me that the water on the lake don´t was good... "...smell very bad, and i saw 3 dead fish'sin the lake." 
And i go there and the water don´t have good aspect... with one color between green and brown... but, with thousands of pll swiming, kids, mothers or just freaks... i enter 2 there several times... 
More funny, is that so much pll asking for some answers, and only Miss Amazon come here (like always do), and try give some anwsers... strange...

I think if u have questions to put about boom here is not the ideal place.
Why people not ask to the Boom Organization?
Why people are so jawless about the boom success??
Its sad to see rumors..., are u thinking the Boom team have time or patience to come to israforum??? I don't think so, and I understand very well why.

My friend, don't be naive. Do you really think that now that the festival is over, anyone gives a shit about where our money went or if the sound system was bad etc??? And even if they do, it will be again like they did last year. They will say that next year it will be ok and that's it. You must understand that it was a commercial fetival, they made their money and the story is over.
And so that you know, I did send an e-mail to the organisers and of course, noone send me any answer...sure they don't have the time...they are counting the money!!!!

well i see u have apoint here....but...was it u , that organize the fest?
people have 2 stop bitchin about thix fest or goodmood...
they are what they are...and don´t even have 2 give explanaixons...like someone said in here..."Ethics? There's no such thing in Trance business, you should know that"
they did what was asked 2 them...make a festival!
simple as that...it was their investiment...so they deserve won what that won cause it was their efforts!
