i can answer you direct without beeing the organizator.
NO FIRE at all men.
its strictly forbidden.
don t you know that portugal is a dry country that has burn at 85 % in the last three years.
So you don t need to ask for this the answer is totally no.
Anyway have a great festival.

we are not talking about lighting camp fires, but about fire performances ie poi/staff etc. I think i remember seeing fire performances in years past.

yes - indeed there were fire performers..but the fire performs were from/or where somehow related to the org..so a better idea is to speak with them.

boom is only every 2 years, so you should think about playing the bigwigs tracks this year

Hey everyone!
I'm thinking about coming to Boom 06 but unfortunately (for me) my brother's wedding is on the 5th August! I hope to fly out on the morning of the 6th August and come join all you guys for the last 3 days. Is it going to be worth it, or am I completely mad?
Does anyone know the best and easiest way to get to the site? The boom buses aren't working that day, so I was thinking of hiring a car, but it's quite expensive! Are there good public transport links? How expensive are taxis from the nearest town?
Thanks in advance-
