Nikita aka Penta
Nika Biodigrable

Dj I say Goa Gil and Kode IV mixing and track selection is not the best but they
make people move and have great presence
and they are international Djs not just local

I don't know what this guy is talking about. If you say that Kode IV and Goa Gil can't be considered "actual" americans (which is bullshit IMO), then Biodegradable wouldn't be either (they are Swiss). Same for Penta (Russian I think).

I personaly don't care where a DJ is originally from. If they live in the states and spin here regularly then they can be considered American in my book. The scene here is so young that for now more then half of the DJ's and the Trancers are going to be international.

Peace.           Both teams played hard

I haven't heard too many DJz in the US...but from the ones that i HAVE heard...the guyz at T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi are doing one hell of a good job. Kri and Michael Curran (Sage2012) are real good and u should give them a listen if u haven't yet. Blue Spectral Monkey is also another one worth checkin' out.           "Om is bow, the arrow is soul,

apocalypse now you missed my point completely, i dont care where they're from either, remember america is based on immigration? i just said that because neither of them is a dj in my opinion. a dj is supposed to take the art of mixing to new levels (especially if you are as big as them) neither of them do, kode IV trainwrecks more than a 10 year old learning how to spin, he plays anthem after crowd pleasing anthem, he has no respect from me as a dj. the things hes done for the scene are great and i have respect for him in that sense but as a dj hes quite sad. goa gil doesnt mix either he just plays dats, gil sells because his image sells more than his djing. i have a lot of respect for gil, hes a great guy with an awesome heart and hes also really done a great deal for psy trance, but as a dj i dont respect him at all. its sad when i can mix better than both of them and they've been at it 10x longer than i have. and gils from san francisco so how would he ever be considered not american?

that was my point. sorry to be misleading...

Aah the wonders of free speech dont you just love democracy =)!

Scan the question is what is your favorite Dj not who you dont like.
Second, as a good you seem to be ,Scan you might not ever be able play Boom, solipce in africa, australia Japan and all over Europe. You might be lucky if you play a small party. But who knows may be you do, I really dont know you nor really care but Peter and Gil are doing what they love and getting payed. "That is what is all about"

Think about it, they suck at mixing and they played athem trance and people still like them other wise they wouldnt play all over the world. With so many "better" Djs what kind of power is that tell me.

anyways enough about this discussion its pointless trying to prove someone taste is bad you can make a point about who you like and why but trying to prove someone taste is wrong come you never win. because taste in music is bias. Is like me trying to prove Subtle that I dont like Dutch why I should waste my time proving this. He likes Dutch cool more power to Dutch. I dont really care.

trainwrecking and getting paid for it is what its all about? that wrong on so many levels....a dj is supposed to mix..that was defines a good dj from a bad one...

i might be lucky if i play a small party?...your right i would consider myself very lucky..but watch my friend...i very rarely come forward with any kind of ego but i know whats coming...anyways enough about me...

ive talked to many many other djs in SF and around the world who agree with my opinion but your absolutely right..its just that an opinion..and your right people are entilted to like whoever they like regardless of what i think...its just a shame that peter and gil are a representation of psy djs, especially when they play in front of big crowds...ive listened to peter many times..he could be replaced with a cdj 3000 with automix...a real dj couldnt...
