I am trying to understand how can a anti authoritarian festival that promotes anarchy and is against capitalism and commercialism to book an artist that gets payed more than 1000 euros to offer his services on this specific event.

Every day i seem to learn something new about politic movements in Greece...

Max's set was proper belting! The P.A. was good + the fact that it was outdoors made the sound very good over all.
The downside where all the banners with the political messages.
There were a lot of gurning faces in the morning!

Max rocked the place...

Nothing better for this kind o festival...
His music let us think revolutionary...

I think that a name like that made the difference and fit to the spirit of the fest!!!

Many thanks to tha organizers..

Max was stin tsita, and played like good old times. The place and the event were great, I can't understand the guys who dont like the whole theme of the fest. Psytrance is supposed to be underground anywayz, and thats what happened on saturday night.

underground and politics don't go together mate. its simple to understand. I loved the music, the backyard was a great place, but walking in the university and reading the shit that was written on the banners, reminded me that I am not at a free trance party, but in another bitter conflict of political parties.

anyhow, the party was great, the motives were not...but as they say in greece, "o skopos agiazei ta mesa" right?
...whatever...

Well, it is your point of view, dont be dogmatic about it. The underground is about conflicts with the establishment, whether it is art or politics. And, you attended a free trance party, unless you paid for an entrance willingly. As for the motives, everybody knew what the whole fest was about, I'm sure you did also before attending. It may be easy to understand, but it looks like it is easier to ignore.           Bring yourselves into the light

I have no problem against bands that write lyrics against the establishment, I have no problem with music that goes against the establishment, one of the reasons that I enjoy trance parties, especially free ones, is because like minded people that are anti-establishment types, gather and dance together. What I have a problem with is organisations and political parties that go against the establishment, but also have their own agendas that go beyond a good trance party. It is VERY different than an innocent party where we all gather, and celebrate our will against the goverment and the police by doing illegal activities...from smoking chillums to simply being and dancing in a place where we are not supposed to.

I did not pay anything mate, I prefer free trance parties than the ones you have to pay...that is how I first came to know trance parties, by going to Varimpopi in 1994 where no one asked me to pay.
And I went to hear Max play on saturday with full conscience of the party I was attending, I did not ignore anything. I spoke my mind against the brain washing before I went there, on this very forum, and I stand by to what I said, today.
