Technically you are correct, although i havent read "The science of getting rich", im more than certain that that book must be highlighting the same concept.
But personally I would hate to categorize such books which contain such an invaluable secret of man as 'self-help books' or 'books on how to get rich'.
With wisdom and with realization of 'the truth' comes much more than monetary success and its purpose is far greater than simply becoming the richest man on earth. But i guess money is what attracts most in the world today, and the only motivation for most people to seek something today is money. Which is why perhaps the authors name their books 'the science of getting rich' rather than perhaps 'the science of the subconcious mind' or 'the science of thought' which the bigger picture of the book is really about. The book must be wonderful and revealing, but i hate the title and i wish more people realised that it is the means to do much more than get rich. Besides, whatever the book tells you to do is done through thought, what then is the point of getting the thought patterns that lead to riches correctly, if your thought process pertaining to life as a whole is incorrect? That would be very misleading and would eventually even lead to your failure to attain riches too!
So this is just to state my opinion that these books provide far greater insight than just how to get rich. Dont be fooled by how the message is commericially marketed or labeled. And also the more such books you read, or any book of wisdom for that matter like the Bible or Quran or the teachings of Buddha, the more you will realise that they all speak of the same principles and they all provide the same insights to life, they all speak of abundance and the secrets of attainment. And though they use different words and terms and have different purposes, though some theories are scientific while others are spiritual, they all describe the same means to such attainment and to finding 'the truth'.
Please do correct any of my views if you disagree with anything for i love to stand corrected haha. No seriously, in Deepak Chopra's words, "Knowledge is great but it can never be completed".....so feel free and all the best in each of your individual journeys to true enlightenment.

i have a question
as far as my knowledge gpoes we produce DMT in a perticular quantity right before we die.from a gland situated right in the middle on our forehead actually right between our brows whre they say we have a chakra too... what i wanna know is how much of this would be true and do meditators produce more DMT in there systems.

@sorceress: Near death, DMT is produced for sure but otherwise also they are kept producing in small amounts but the quantity is so small that the enzymes in our body (forgot the actual name) is able to break it up and we dont feel it. Sometimes when more DMT is produced we see visions, dreams, things that are supposed to be paranormal.
Regarding meditation....I am not sure. Nothing was written in the book about that

Well, you r correct when you say, money is what attracts most in the world today, and the only motivation for most people to seek something today is money. That's the reason even publishers come up with such attractive headers. And you r also correct when you say
that these books provide far greater insight than just how to get rich.Indeed yes, it does and anyways its what each reader percieves eventually. imo, modern physics has reached a stage where by it can define the cause of everything and the reality as it is and as how we percieve it.Everything that there is ,is made up of subatomic particles and once you know the nature of these particles, you can alter your reality. These books talk about how we are creating our realities all the time. we are the cause.Anyways, i've read all this before too in books comparing buddhism, vedas, and other ancient eastern teachings with modern physics. But such headings, containing the word money or rich which apparently is the biggest parameter around which everything revolves today, do is, that it attracts more and more readers and somehow or the other atleast the message is reaching.
And thanks,as i didn't fool myself with the commercial heading of the book.surprisingly, with me the case is infact opposite, after reading these books, i've quit my job 3years ago as a training head of north india for an mnc where i was drawing six figure monthly cheque. dont ask me why? hehehe.. well, today i live for the day when i will master the science of sound. atleast i like to think this way . Also, i use this knowledge to decondition myself as much as possible, so that i'm able to breakfree of all crap that has beeen shoved into our heads since the day we are born and reach such a state of consciousness where everyhitng is possible."Time Travel". So maybe one day while reading these books i might dissapear, possibility is that i see you in 3012. lol
"When I get into the time travel mode. Iım engaged in a creative activity, which involves coming up with words to talk to you about, or writing. I loose my hold, or letıs say my interest, in the current space of time that im in, and my mind seems to escape into another real. Itıs in the dynamics of that realm, which I call the unborn, uncreated, unformed, unoriginated realm, that time travel becomes accessible".

agreed, if thats the best was to get the message across, which it is....why not...besides it does lead us to seek more...well said bro.

wowow, thats truely amazing and inspiring. Looks like you've reallly begun to understand what the message is and now your actually practicing it in a big way. Looks like you done some great deal of deconditioning to be able to overcome the fear of doing something so significant with so much faith.
Btw, this time travel you are upto, is this by any chance connected to astral projection? do you astraly project into the future and the past? i've tried astral projection with the help of hypnosis scripts(audios), my knowledge of the subconsience, the chakras and with the help of Hofmans problem child;), which has been very effective hehe....i wanna know if therez a connection or if its almost the same thing.
Anyways great goin Sid/OoRjA and hope you can share summore light with us sometime....peace n love!
