people has anyone read sex,drugs,einstien & elves by clifford A. pickover ?
the name is quiet interesting but havent read, has any of you ?

I was doing some heavy recursive searching and found a pretty cool article on aliens:
Between the years 1965-1978 there was a special 12 person exchange program between the American military and alien race from the planet Serpo (of the Zeta Reticuli system)
The Zeta Reticuli has for a long time been pinpointed as the origin of extraterrestrial activity. From Area51 to Project Serpo, it seems to be the centre of a lot of energy
and attention.
It is often alleged that Zeta Reticuli is home to an alien civilization that has been visiting Earth and abducting humans for various reasons, those more commonly referred to as the Greys. This belief stems from the claimed Betty and Barney Hill abduction in 1961. Years later, under hypnosis, Betty Hill drew a star map purported to show the relative positions of the aliens' home star and the Sun. UFO researcher Marjorie Fish soon claimed that the map indicated Zeta Reticuli as the aliens' home, although skeptics have pointed out that the map is too vague to accurately pinpoint any particular star at all.

did u mention einstien n between elves, sex and drugs...
i did know he had a girl friend in school whom he got pregnent... but then in later years he did marry some one else. but drugs... mescaline or mashrooms is what am betting on
now this should be a must read book.

i some how could never develop an interest in ALians and extra terrestrail beings... some how the idea sound so fake to me..

Eventually, the man becomes old and ill, and knows that he will soon die. In his last few moments he summons the energy to ask a question that has puzzled him over the years. "I have been told," he says to the guard, "that the Law exists for all. Why the does it happen that, in all the years I have sat here waiting, nobody else has ever come to the door of the Law?"
"This door," the guard says, "has been made only for you. And now I am going to close it forever." And he slams the door as the man dies.
The more Simon brooded on this allegory, or joke, or puzzle, the more he felt that he could never understand Zen until he first understood this strange tale. If the door existed only for that man, why could he not enter? If the builders posted a guard to keep the man out, why did they also leave the door temptingly open? Why did the guard close the previously open door, when the man had become too old to attempt to rush past him and enter? Did the Buddhist doctrine of dharma (law) have anything in common with this parable?
Did the door of the Law represent the Byzantine bureaucracy that exists in virtually every modern government, making the whole story a political satire, such as a minor bureaucrat like Kafka might have devised in his subversive off-duty hours? Or did the Law represent God, as some commentators claim, and, in that case, did Kafka intend to parody religion or to defend its devine Mystery obliquely? Did the guard who took bribes but gave nothing but empty hope in return represent the clergy, or the human intellect in general, always feasting on shadows in the absence of real Final Answers?
Eventually, near breakdown from sheer mental fatigue, Simon went to his roshi (Zen teacher) and told Kafka's story of the man who waited at the door of the Law -- the door that existed only for him but would not admit him, and was closed when death would no longer allow him to enter.
"Please," Simon begged, "explain this Dark Parable to me."
"I will explain it," the roshi said, "if you will follow me into the meditation hall."
Simon followed the teacher to the door of the meditation hall. When they got there, the teacher stepped inside quickly, turned, and slammed the door in Simon's face.
At that moment, Simon experienced Awakening."

was it him at the door as the door man himself stopping him from heading in... like we bribe ourself everytime we need comfert when we do not go thru that extra seconds of pain to know we achieved what we intended too...
how does the human mind establish reality... he learns to walk only after falling... he is awakwned only only having the door slam shut at him...
or did he understand the parable coz he realised that no matter whether he is inside or outside the door he can communicate with his teacher.
now i need to spend some time with this one

Dude... I have no doubt in the existence of Aliens or other extraterrestrial life forms. Its just to vast for us to be alone?.
Remember in the book "autobio.." he talks about all these different levels of enlightenment.. like the different planets of consciousness? Well, it just got me thinking about this other forms of life thing. Maybe they could just be humans who can transport themselves through time and space. Anyways, just a random theory of mine.
As for Einstien's intimate life, i know that he had a wife and two sons. Wife was a famous physicist and of the sons, one became a famous teacher at Harvard or yale or sumthn, and the other died young.. some brain problem. Irony?
He had a very strained relationship with them and eventually divorced her sometime before his great discovery. He married again, to his first cousin who took care of him or some shit.
About drugs.. i know the fellow who he worked with for a bit , Hiller or Miller.. he took some acid while workin on his theory the "Foundations of Physics"
And i guess Einstein probably had a number of elves to help him like Santa

Aliens need to be defined first are these creatures from 1000 light years away or according to the theory of parallel universe or multiverse ..................the parallel universes might just be less than a millimeter away from us according to the quantum, so is it any ways possible to just find a gateway to enter the other verse or expect guests from the common door ......... like its said that area 51 is high energy field then is it not possible that it is the entry point for people in other dimension ............ actually this is something we used to discuss amongst friends long back in school but seems most around the world think the same ..............but the point is how strange? that many brains i have met who for fun discussed such things without prior knowledge said the same things or thought the same......explored many blogs ........... always for fun but strikingly coincidental thghts and nowadays its all over the net .................more you read more it makes you remember the school days

I have on NLP but its called Natural Language Processing based upon computer Sciece
Anyway, regarding hallucinatory substances, they have been present from time immemorial. These days the stuffs are more refined...that is all....Maybe, what we get with one blotter these days, you had to consume one whole plant of some substance 5K yrs back. Thats the only difference!
God has created the greatest COMPUTER i.e. our brain and he has given us valid means to explore it. Now how you explore it...is upon the human mankind....
