The human soul is just the part of god & is exactly the same as god created the soul to experience himself/herself & there was no other way to do this so he created human soul in the same likeness of himself/herself.......
And thats the soul purpose, to venture, to reconnect with the essence of who we really are and why we are here, to overcome the barriers that separate us as people, to fulfil our purpose as individuals and to live together the collective vision of a united humanity.
Our experience tells us that:
As part of the formation of our personality in childhood, we experience and suppress various fears, doubts, aspirations, hurts and pain.
These unexpressed feelings become the trigger in later life for our reactions and limiting behaviour.
We endeavour to overcome these behaviours and circumstances by thinking of different things to "do" to change them and make them better.
Nothing changes.
The soul cannot be overpowered BUT at the same time the soul being the part of god cannot step back from what the mind decides to think, speak & act......

it is like to ask about eternity and infinity isn't it? and i think there is much more than a human soul that make all of this alive ,there is the conchesness
i found the conchesnes an unsepertad thing from the soul,
and there is different type of conchesness which lead us to different way of live and living and allso leaving ,and it is taking us to a different dimensions
the lovely thing is that we find places that are new for us and we can find there more than "it is my place only " somtimes we create those places and they become reality
and you can named it - dimention.
the power behind of it is our MIND for me the MIND is when the soul and the conchesnes found each other.
because of the collective consciousness there is streamlines between all of us, it is like a big net
the places and the expiriences that we have or will have are transporting by those strings -
the next step is happening right now we are all conenected
in time it will spread out and it will take the hall of all to the next level
no metter what - belive youre soul

what's ur defn of da human soul?
U mite as well ask what's da shape of water? Or who'll win da world cup....
da answr, is highly subjective... For, none of us, AND I REALY MEAN NONE OF US, cn completely define dis term tht we so conveniently call the soul!!! All we cn do is paint another hue... to wat's already a vibrant canvas..
Now picture this...
There's a chariot drawn by five strong & powerful horses. Each horse is strong-willed & pullin da chariot in a directn of his choice. So u hav five really powerful horses all pullin in diff directns! There's a charioteer who's got all da reins in his hands, but is havng a terrible time managing these horses.
He is standing on the driver's seat all f*&kd up tryin 2 sumhw get these beasts on track!
The whole thing is set in da nite... with thunderstorms all around. Basically, thr's a whole lot of violence in the whole picture...
It's a rough & dangerous ride with no guarantees of anykind!
In da midst of al this, there's another person in the chariot; on da passenger seat... Now, while da storm rages & lightning strikes, while da horses try all they cn 2 break free n gallop where they wanna go, while the charioteer is at his wit's end just keepin da vehicle on the track; u hv this person behind who's jus chilled out & watching all da destruction wit a peaceful smile... The chariot may or may not make it... but dis person is out 2 hv a crazy time, no matter wat!!!
NOW HERE, THE CHARIOT'S UR EARTHLY, MORTAL BODY. UR MODE OF TRANSPORTATN ON THAT PERILOUS YET EXHILARATING JOURNEY. THE FIVE HORSES ARE YOUR SENSES, HORSES THAT CAN RUN BUT EACH ACCORDING TO HIS OWN WHIMS & FANCIES!
THE CHARIOTEER IS UR MIND WHICH HAS BEEN GIVEN DA REINS & THRUOUT THE JOURNEY, IT'S DIS GUY WHO'S GOING TO BEAR DA BRUNT, FOR HE IS UR MIND, THE CONSCIOUS YOU!!!
THE GUY BEHIND IS YOUR SOUL. THE ONE PART OF THE WHOLE PICTURE THAT SHOWS NO TRACE OF FEAR OR ANGUISH OR ANY EMOTION FOR THT MATTER! THE ONE PART OF THE PICTURE THT KNOWS!!! THE ONLY GUY WHO HS THE LUXURY OF JUS CHNGING DA CHARIOT (DRIVER, HORSES ET AL) WHEN DA EXISTING ONE GIVES OUT...
THE ONLY ONE TO KNW THT, NO MATTER WHAT, IT'S JUS ANOTHER JOURNEY N THR R THINGS TO BE LEARND IN EACH ONE!!!
NOW THAT PASSENGER IS THE SOUL!!!
quite long, but it best captures life frm a philosophical point of view... n da nxt time things go wrong, u cn atleast say, there's dis passenger u r carrying who's having a really wonderful time, no matter what the charioteer (the conscious you) might think...

@mysticmessiah: Awesome post. I have read that in Gita. Brilliant way to describe soul. Truly, Gita is one of the most enlightening books that you can read in your life. Simply brilliant and the best thing about the book is that its so simple. Taking exact reference from real life, the author has been able to conjure up such brilliant things.

Dude!!! that was incredible.. wow!! ur right Krishna is a genius. Cudnt have heard it any better than that.
And also about your question, i would have to agree. I remember i was thinking about how a person who has become a god-like figure through its effort to become enlightened, and my sister the very next day recommended me the book 'siddhartha' by herman hesse. Even earlier on i had a conversation once with my friend about how we human beings were pretty much closest to nature than anything else and how we just were not wholly convinced and a few days later we saw the DVD Liquid Crystal Vision and in that this sadhu (with very bad teeth i shall add so if u wanna check it out it becomes easier) keeps saying 'you are nature' in such a simple manner. That stuck in my head for a long time. But yeah, stuff like that i can relate to.
.. and also this goes out to everyone. Where can i get such translated texts of the Gita either in print or the internet. I'm really interested in this so any suggestions will be helpful.

@KarmaCola: I have an ebook of complete Gita in English. You want that? For Hindi, the best place would be the publisher - Gita Press, Gorakhpur. I am not getting the internet link of it but its there.
You can go to any Krishna temple in India and they should know the contact address of Gita Press. That seems to be the defacto publisher of all such text in India.

Karma, If you want to get the Gita, get the "Bhagwad Gita as it is" Google it.
I got my second hand version from Amazon.
Don't get anything else!!!!
Its got Sanskrit scripture which is translated into english. it also has a dictionary kind of thing whihc give you awesome elp to actually read the script in sanskrit. ad each an every paragrah has its own translation in English.

Also, @mysticmessiah - Wasn't Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the passenger?
I dont see how the Passenger can be the Soul. Sorry, doesn't make sense to me.
Ok i see the point where you need your mind to use those senses but i could argue that the mind only suvives because of the heart.
The passensger, however calm he may be will not jump or change onto the next chariot unless the charioteer stops to show him the way. He is the only way out for him!
Hope i am making some sense and not wasting anybody's time!

hehe seems that the lost isratrancers are founded back again!!!
I got a greek edition of the Bhagwad Gita as it is and I was so much impresed reading it,Krishna is the master guider of the strategic plans we have to do on the daily battlefield arena of life,briliant ancient sacred scriptures...!!!

Gita & Arthashastra by Chanakya according to me is the most brilliant books ever written on sprirituality and politics. Written so long ago but each and every stanza still holds good. Gita will be the most omni present book I guess

soul is "nothing" & "everything" your soul or mine or his or her is the same but with different porposes as is in the same body the different organs for different porposes but same entity ....................................... trees , mountains, rivers etc. etc. all different yet same in the shell called earth which resides in the shell called universe which is in a bigger shell of supreme soul which again is you , me , her , them everything
it starts from you but will it end with you maybe there is no beginning so will be no end 
peace n light n keep shining bright
To focus sometimes you need to spin hard on your soul's axis..... just don't ask how and what it means ;) |
