I spend a lotta time nowadays contemplating on the future and how i can get to where i would like to be.... Its funny how i *know* inside everything that being happy is all that matters and not through materialistic things, drugs, relationships and stuff.. but just being happy withing yourself. A clean, pure happiness which does not necessarily have to crowd your lifestyle or hurt anybody else.
Still.. sometimes it seems quite pointless about spending my time thinkin about all this.. its not gettin me good grades.. its not feeding me.. its not helpin me get ahead(or is it?)..
Anyways.. i just wanted to see whether any body else ever got these feelings?

this is one dillema i got over after a long time .............. just think why does not a kid contemplate over learning abcdef but rather learns and moves on and doesnt even know how good or bad compositions he/she shall create in future ..........exactly the mind when in need is attracted towards anykind of knowledge but that does not mean that you have to live in that knowledge but it is only necessary to learn in order to guide oneself/yourself in a situation beyond materialistic control .......................... the desire to excel in materialistic environment and to enjoy the winnings and loses is the porpose and karma which in turn makes oneself learn more but one cannot judge the spiritual knowledge by thinking where it would or is leading but by striking a balance in both ..........this is what i think might be quiet vague but i do share the "?"
peace n light mi bro
To focus sometimes you need to spin hard on your soul's axis..... just don't ask how and what it means ;) |

@ritesh..yeah you're right about that movie(goal), but it's fun to watch never the less.
@karma..the question did cross my mind too and the magnitude became such that i gave up my then present carrer three years back & i decided to do nothing, unless i find myself. well, that was an extreme decision i took, but the not so promising journey proved to be a bliss & now i relate to everything better, a kind of awareness has set in, which wasn't there before. each act i do is with total awareness and hence fullfiling.
well, the journey still continues leading to other dimensions & plausible realities unleashing the hidden infinite potential of human mind, body & soul.
@jabba..yes some good lines there. seems like my friend samar has put down ten commandments.

@*Karma Cola* - bro u serious about me being intelligent..... doesnt really matter.....
I prefer to be dumb & always up to experience the new however i do realize that it is about our own choice & trust me if everyone starts to think about finding ownself instead of others & material & stuff, then it would fulfil the soul purpose............ collective conciousness you see....
Be *Dumb* & Be *Selfish*.....

Yogananda passed his exams on university and also in the same time practising his spiritual purpose...
...ballance between social and spiritual life...
but if you have had a weird and strong connection trough visions with god and blissfull feelings...then no any material stuff can touch you...
I know people who had a lot of money and fame ...and after a strong spiritual experience devoted their life in service for humanity and follow a spiritual path in union with the supreme entity...
the ectstatic orgasm of bliss feeling, could replace any material stuff...

Most of us live in past or future, either thinking about past or worrying about the future, but everyone forgets the bliss of present, when u start living, feeling n thinking the present, then in actual terms one starts living a full aware n awekened life. Enjoy n feel the present moment, because everything is in present |

Have you noticed that most of the management books teach us to save and live for the future whereas the spiritual thought process always makes us to believe for the present.

a must read for all you guys ! its about how the protagonist goes about finding his true self (state of constant happiness ) I particularly liked how Hesse makes his character achieve salvation- by sinning and falling prey to desire and finally, pulling himself from its clutches. true happiness lies within all of us and all we need to is is practice a lil temperance when you know you sinned enuf .. and the book deals with a lot of what we are facing in todays day and life ..

2-3 years back i never used to think about anything, if i had to do something i would do it, and i was succesful at whatever i did, but now i'm thinking a lot about everything and i mean everything which makes me wonder why am i thinking so much, but still i'm thinking, and because of this i classified everything as good or bad, +ve or -ve, which made things complicated, very recently a good friend described the +ve -ve difference as just a way of thinking. so i'm back to square one and thinking.
anyone with a solution.

yeah.. siddhartha by hesse is excellent.. simple yet profound. Hesse's seems to have made the Buddha into two different characters, the seeker and the enlightened. Good look at the two sides.

so true.. but its only how 'you' look at it right? which way u wanna turn it's an individual action. And i dunno if there's a solution but my say on this is 'go with the flow and learn from it regardless if its good or bad'.

The human soul- what is your definition of it?
I can only please one person per day. Today's not your day. Tomorrrow isn't looking good either. |
