bro, thank you for ur recommendation...i will read the book..(i ve read Kabir's book.. Anurag Sagar (The Ocean of Bliss)) if ur intrested i could give u a link to download the book in pdf format..
Also I would recommend the book "Science of the Soul" by Maharaj Jagat Singhji....
This will explain scientfically the intricacies of the mind and the soul!!

i am studying for a hindi subsidiary paper which i have have to clear this year and i am studying kabir ke dohe .. really he speaks so much sense in those two lines .. and there are so many of them ..
Atleast i can connect to this stuff at some level but the rest of what i'm studying is soo booring ..

Bura jo dekhan main gaya, Bura na milya koi
Jo mann apna dekha, to mujhse bura na koi.
Which means when i serached for negativity n corruptness i could not find, but when i introspected my own mind, then i found that no one was as bad n negative as me. This was Kabirs verse where he makes people understand that, instead of blaming others n figuring out there weaknesses, look unto ur ownself n mind, n exhaust ur own shortcomings n negativity, then blaming others. |

i searched for the the evil, the corrupt the 'bad' but couldn't find ne. but wen i looked closely it was the 'mind' the 'i' in everyone (even myself) that was the culprit

Time to put this thread back up.
Finished The Zahir by Paul Coelho yesterday. Skipped the last few pages as it was the same gyaan repeated again. I think the book got little repeatetive and little boring in the end.
Started "World Is Flat" now as suggested by @sorceress and my DAD

I have read in the past "the diary of a wizard" from Paulo Cohelo and i wonder if that big task of the wizard and all those mystical practises are true,I tried once in aforest to do one practise that is written in the book...I really felt that I started to became a tree for a while....
also the book of the warrior of light is good from paulo,wise advices are written.
I fiunished Parakelsus wow magic book ,gives analytic the effects of the planets ,how to make an helectron and maaany much more on alchemy...
and now read "teach me to fly" from Anandnivedita AVK...but this one is only for those who want to educate a kid with spiritual insights ...hehe

Once again i must recommend the book 'Siddhartha' by Herman Hesse.
The author includes a very nice way of storytelling the hardships and journey of Gautama Buddha, by having two different characters instead of one. Simple read, but quite profound in its simplicity.
I remember one part kept me engrossed because of the truth in the matter.
Brings me to my question..
Do you really feel like you would be capable of leaving everything you know and love and cherish, in the pursuit of truth and knowledge?

No way given my current life. Need to finish my higher studies, save some money to go for a world backpack tour and lookout for new vibes all over the world.
Cant leave everything as of now but then maybe the world tour I am gonna do is the pursuit for truth and knowledge.

hehe, here comes again the meaning of sacrifice...
there is safe place somewhere deep inside inner self,were you can seat with your soul and rest peacefully.
When you decide to sacrifice material and flesh satifactions,you close some specific channels that work more for material and crude energies, and then open some other channels capable to receive the real knowledge of truth through more subtle energies more higher spiritual levels...then those material and flesh pleasures comes always secondly,Lucifer is week against you,and here Lucifer helps you to lift up higher as you ignore him.
So it is not strange when we see a monk dont pay attention for sex,or a hermit who have devoted his life in truth and knowledge...those two persons surely have found that safe place inside their inner as I wrote before and enjoy a blissfull felling each time they want ...they rest in peace before death comes,and they are prepared to face Charon death when comes with no any fear,they are ready and awaiting the time to get liberation happy and conciously...
what I do,slowly slowly prepare my spirit as much more harmonius and ballanced I could openining channels one by one the right time as I feel ready to accept those new paths of bliss,close those wich I dont need for my ultimate final goal,and enter in higher dimensions for my conciousnes till it will be ready to merge with the supreme infinite conciousnes ,wave by wave....

I had a very distinct experience during my meditation session
After a point my body was only vibrations and my brain matter solid. I suddenly felt like an octopus, - brain in the middle and my limbs were his tendrils. As if its just the being (brain) who decodes the world around us and shows us the illusion of reality. Its the brains urge at which we want to copulate and its urge for nutrients that we eat, like some one sitting in the brain and pressing buttons to send out signals
like a driver of the car and the car is nothing but the drivers extension - some thing it can leave behind and move to another car
Could not keep it for long but wow what an experience
From a spiritual look this may seem a bit absurd but scientifically a person is declared dead only when he is brain dead. U can put rest of the systems of artificial similations but not the brain. And despite or running all business of our body smoothly any brain anytime does so much like coordination, balance, interpretation, imagination, character sketching, drawing, calculation, metabolism decoding electic signals from all over the body yet we use one a fraction of it.
