Also Jabba, why don't you ask more important questions like the results of football games or something - so I can bet, make some money and go watch some more games at Highbury. Khaching!!!            Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

ROFLMAO! Bet

@melloncollie: Good to see an Indian (i guess you are an indian) FEMALE who is interested in soccer. Sorry sad but I have not yet met a soccer loving girl in Blore yet in my 5 yrs of stay out here!

That was quite a good analysis of the game but I differ with you in only one respect:

I actually support Juventus in the Serie A but between Arsenal and any team - Arsenal wins my support hands down, just for the fact that with all the cash problem etc. they still make a good side, packing them up with enterprising young players. Arsene wenger has the bloody knack to go far off lands in Africa and get a 17 yr old genius. The only guy he missed would be Lionel Messi. That boy is a fcuking genius in the making.

Teams I support in different league - Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Arsenal. Sometimes I watch portuguese la liga too....

Milan vs. Lyon should be a good match. Lyon are in good touch this season with Wiltord playing real good.           Discover.Vote.Share() - http://www.beamto.us

Aha...so I see a Juve fan out here. Well even I am Juve fan but I am bigger fan of Arsenal. I simply love EPL for its speed and pace. Italians are too defensive minded. Even a game between Juve and Lecce ends in 1-0. I mean what the hell!

@acidity Sad though init that the Gunners a true blue English team has almost the whole of the French world cup team as it's line Up! And there are couple of girlies I know in town into Futbol and hold their own in a nice Footie arguement.

Well I swear by West Ham though.... Go Hammers

As sorceress had pointed out earlier it is just the result of globalisation. Now what can Wenger do if his English players like Cole move on to anther team just for the money leaving behind a stable position in one of the most exciting team in the world. Wenger has a job in hand of making Arsenal the best club in the world, and if he can do it with bunch of French, Italian, Belarussian, African players....good enough. In the end an Arsenal fan wants to see his team playing the most lucid one touch game of football where you enjoy the game by not watching a physical game but deft touches on the ball and sudden attack

Another point to be noted is that team cost of the whole of Arsenal is probably same as one Chelski player.

BTW, hope to see those futbol loving ladies in some parties soon. Dont you think that a sportsperson makes a good party goer too?           Discover.Vote.Share() - http://www.beamto.us

He he, Good point. Wenger raises and nurtures talent. He bought Viera for like 2 million and sold him at his aging prime for a 1000% profit. It's too early in the AM for proper math but you know what I mean. I hate these arguments about how Arsenal barely has any English players. Have you noticed how there are barely any...maybe 5 english players outside the EPL? Woodgate, Beckham, and I cant think of anymore? Owen at one stage but again he couldn't gel. I love the Gunners, they play beautiful ballet like football. AAH. I am contemplating being a football agent, theres this UEFA exam you need to pass and hopefully my law school backgrond should help but the only screw up is having to live in the UK forever and ever. hehehe. Maybe heading to the middle of nowhere to scout , that would be wicked. Arsene really does do that, he looks and looks till hes happy, and even the 10 or so mill for HLeb was a shock to Gunners fan - like I cant believe they spent so much. But he's sooper young and going to do soooooper good. I got Wengers autograph and picture from the only FA Cup Goooners game I watched. Prized possession till I sucessfully stalk Thierry. and Ljungberg - god's gift to women. Anyone seen his CK Undie modelling pictures? oh Laaaaaaaaa la.

Milan and Barcelona ....I love these guys!!!!! Messi, Eto, Ronaldinhio, Maxi, Xavi, rockstars. I got a soft sport of Argentina, so hence my love for Valencia FC. I love their Mid Field and Aimar rocks!!!!!!!!!! Also , in Delhi I never really came across more than one other girlfriend who watch footie, Englands a different thing but still I think we're a minority. Except for my best friend whos a crazy Turkish girl and an obssessive Galatasaray fan, Hasan Saas all the way

Tho Serie A is so defnsive , this year I've been watching and there have been mad goals on all fronts. Milan is winning mostly by a 2 goal difference and Juve are doing so too. It's the new young bloood and that Toni mofo from Fiorentina

And lastly I must add (i promise), the French control of Arsenal is falling, slowly but whats the big deal, cos the same bunch of em don't do so hot at World Cup level anymore, and then they kick ass for us! BTW Who is watching teh cricket in Delhi today? Poor you, last I checked we'd lost five wickets. Boo Hooo. Bloody Angrez!            Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

now thats a really bad argument to make... so what if PSG manager says all the french players are playing in england? as far as players are concerned they will play wherever they get money and career... chelsea is not a bad option for both... thats the whole pointof club footbal right? but breaching the EPL rules was too bad from both chelsea and cole for sure... but i dont care, i hate both chelsea and arsenal anyways...

shit, do you know how hard it is to follow soccer from the US.           We meditate upon the Spiritual Effulgence of That Adorable Supreme Divine Reality, the Source of the Physical, the Astral, and the Heavenly Spheres of Existence. May That Supreme Divine Being enlighten our Intellect So we may realise the Supreme Truth.

Aaah...you got me all wrong. I was replying to the comments that Arsenal is not an English team. Now wenger in his own capacity wants to keep English players but if they dont stay, what can he do. earlier also, he had bid for many English players but they all went for greener pasteurs which is fair enough. Everybody wants to make money while they are in their prime.

Arsene not being rich like Mourinho has to thus scout for value for money players and where he gets them: Togo, Ivory Coast, etc etc etc.           Discover.Vote.Share() - http://www.beamto.us

Sant Kabir points out that the Path of Spirituality that He teaches,
BEGINS at the Sixth Center, the Ajna Chakra (the Third or Single
Eye). This Path of Sant Mat [the Way of the Saints] leads through
the astral plane, through Brahmand, on to Sach Khand, and finally to
Sat Naam, the idyllic Home of Almighty God. He emphasizes, "Those of
the higher Order of this Sadhana [spiritual practice], begin with the
Ajna Chakra, behind the eyes."

Sant Kabir says that the soul begins its ascent from the Pind
(Physical) Region through the Ajna Chakra (the Seat of the Soul,
Third Eye), and goes into the Andh (Astral) Region, and then further
into the Beyond.

He then begins the description of the Inner Journey by revealing how
the attention of the devotee becomes focused at the Third Eye, with
the Grace of a True Master. "Passing through the optic nerve, the
attention is focused at a point called the Third Eye. From here the
soul enters the Sukhmana (the Middle Path), lying between the Ida
(Left Path) and the Pingla (Right Path)."

He emphasizes that the Left and the Right Paths lead into the domain
of Kaal, but the Middle Path takes one into the Beyond. "Only the true
Sadhu can pass through the Nine Doors and reach to the Tenth (which is
also known as Dhaswan Dwar)." At this stage, the soul merges totally
into the Luminous, Effulgent Form of the Master, Who remains with the
soul, to be its ever-faithful Guide in the Inner Spiritual Realms.

As the soul ascends within, it reaches the First Spiritual Stage known
as Sahansdal-Kanwal, the Region of the thousand candle lights
[Thousand Petaled Lotus]. One feels the bliss of so much Radiance
and Light, that it appears that this lotus is literally a fountain
bursting with Light. Sant Kabir says that here, one hears the Sound
of the Big Bell, or the Conch.

Further up, there is a very narrow tunnel, called the Bunknal, through
which the soul must pass. Its direction leads straight out, then
upward, and then straight out again.

Sant Kabir has explained in such a way that the whole Region
thereafter appears to be an upside-down well, and the person who is a
true Sadhu can drink here in abundance from the Fountain of Divine
Nectar. "What a pity that whoever doesn't have a Master, dies in
thirst of this Sweet Nectar," says Kabir.

Sant Kabir carefully explains that as the soul rises upwards from
Sahansdal-Kanwal, there are numerous tricks played by the Negative
Power to attract the soul and keep it engrossed in that Region, the
purpose being to deter the soul's progress upwards. For example, he
says that there are exquisitely beautiful scenes, people, and music to
captivate the soul's attention. However, these distractions all run
away when the person recites the Five Charged Names of God given to
him by the Master at the time of Spiritual Initiation

Talkin more scientifically....

All chakras r nothin but the glands of the autonomic nervous system...

the so called third eye refers to the pineal gland in the brain...

all nectar n such stuff refers to the different hormones n neurochemicals such as serotonin which lead to a state of euphoria...

the so called moksha slash nirvana is attained when a persons parasympethetic nervous system overrides the sympethatic nervous system n leads to a state of anxiolysis ( = no anxiety for the uninitiated ) i.e. rest n digest system ( aka positive power ) as opposed to the fright n flight system ( aka negative power ) for the laymen... that state can be attained by meditation... ( has been proved by scientific research )

n the meaning of life / the final answer is... ( hold on someones at the door; will tell ya later )
