@Gopendra - I understand what u say, but gross knowledge is useful to some extent, but ultimately its the direct experience which counts, n that cant be achieved through external.
But i also understand, before acquiring masters degree, one has to pass n obtain lower degrees, so nothing wrong in it.
But as far as sprituality is concerned i dont need any gross knowledge, i have read them all, n understood too, now the masters degree begins. |

@psycoactive psybeing u are absolutely right that one needs the help of good books ............ and sometimes these books also make one realize that whatever he or she has experienced something unusual than the material surrounding and discarded may actually have been some spiritual experience ........ 
@pseudonym KRISHNAMURTI yes indeed is pleasure to read i have read a little bit of his "years of awakening" by Mary Lutyens will pick it up again from the attic ... thanks actually for getting me to remember ..
@KC i have just read the few pages of life of Pi .... quite a nicely worded work . thanks for that intro ..

i need a lil guidence here for i am a lil perplexed... i have been diving deep to find out the real meaning of collective conciousness...
in my case am assuming the sun to be the ultimate collective conciouness... the brain of a being, for everything around me is light, light from the sun... with out sun there would be no vibration... no trees no being. this is assuming and giving full weightage to string theory.
@ Jabba - may i ask how big is the book as in terms of weight coz i need to carry it later and i've already over exceeded by books weight limit 
@ Varun - Waking life - a good consolidation of stuff... and this time when i saw it the flow seemed the same as it is on this thread.

Hmmmmmm in terms of "to carry later" it is preety heavy stuff but while reading its almost a feather weight

The Operation of electricity n its supply, can give u insight on how the creation functions. The power house where electricity is stored or the source from where electricity is supplied is constant.
From that source one current is passed through different circuit, or many currents to different sources. From that current we operate different electrical stuff, music systems, tv etc, without that electricity these things cant function.
Another important aspect is that, once the current has left the battery or the power house it has to complete the circuit before it can return to its source, but if there is some leakage or disturbance to the circuit, resistance is created.
Same way we all r in form of energy or current have come forth from the source, the source is one
n the current is also same, the essence of the current is same, n it has to complete the course of evolution n cant return before experiencing n moving in the process of evolution.
It also experiences resistance on its way, as how current faces resistance when there is a leakage in the circuit, same way we face resistance in form of attachments, desires, weaknesses, which proves to be resistance for our onward journey towards the source.
I hope im understood, just was thinking about it, liked to share with u guys. Another important aspect about sprituality is surrender, one has to surrender ones ego, body n mind to the master, without it its impossible to attain the source or the self. |

Hey all...
Was just giving some thought to 'death'.
Have you ever had some moment went confronted by death (Family, friends etc..) and something clicked in ur head. I dont mean you suddenly became this death expert but instead you realised things you didnt earlier?
Well, a person i was really close to died recently, and i realised the futility of ever comprehending death. Let me say that again.. i mean the futility of 'attempting' to figure out death. I would rather spend my time living it up instead.

Death is a subject I never gave a good thought about. Lifes too busy with work and all to even think of death!
But I have heard mah grannies etc talking about death and afterlife. Maybe this is a subject that we need to think about later on in life.

how old are you I am 29 and start think of death seriously before two years,just imagine that one of the reasons I meditate is to prepare my conciousnes for the time I die and be ready to get liberation or choose my next rebirth...

Our conciousnes work like an infinite movie machine of our life and past lifes wich recording nonstop everything that happens in our daily life,and keeping them into unconcious mind.Each action is a reaction from unconsious wich is rooted and ready to be projected as a cause of the past, and effect at the present time.Each different "I" that we created on the past comes again and again till we realize it as a sign from our conciousnes to help us through it away and get closer to merge in unity with the supreme conciousnes. When we meditate and autosuggesting our mind in unity with god,day by day as a spiritual practise for mind,we make our conciousne more clear and it is easier to see the reflection of our inner self projected in each action we do,and realised that all these things we do comes from the cosmic mind as a result to make function the nature laws of the universe.
The time we die all these things wich are hidden in the movie camera of our mind,starting to project them one by one with all of our thougts and fears as demons, forcing us to get in a lower state of conciousnes,not able to see the light of our inner self and get blinded from all these gods and their duties and different principles to make as a spiritual after death test of life,and see what we deserve.
Every we see as a dream for 47 days after death is deep within us,and we must recognize it, is our true clear conciousnes,and the more we realise that the more ready and prepared we would be to face the movie, more concsious and pass as much tests we could to get a higher spiritual rank level and control our next reincarnation ...
