What abt art !!! (yes very random shit im puttin up )

Do u guys like "art' like paintings or stuff like that ???
I routinely go to the guggenheim and teh National art gallery to just sit and look around..

If you ever go to Croatia, they have a museum of "Naiive Art" which is paintings, sculptures etc made by regular people on rainy days when bored. There are some of the most amazing concepts released in striking nver-seen-before colours, and its the genuinity and rawness of the art that strikes you most.

Catcher in the Rye is really what converts non-reading boys and men into ones that are at least open to the idea in the future.

Autobiography of a Yogi not anywhere in Delhi?!

24 pages I just noticed. Good show.
          I can only please one person per day. Today's not your day. Tomorrrow isn't looking good either.

hey ppl,
i've gone through a few of Osho's discourses on LSD. There are sect of ppl who are trained to meditate under the influnce of LSD - which is one of the most difficult ways to meditate. I will give out the name of the book on this thread soon.

He says LSD can be a tool that one can use to reach the stage just before meditation. Lsd is one drug that can give u a glimps of reality (Satori) but not reality.

AAAH! that 'reality'

I dont think we need substances to meditate better, maybe some do .. i dunno. But i wud rather attain whatever there is to atain without the help of stuff.

@sorceress

Did u read the entire book ?
If so, what did u think abt the part when his teacher Yukteswar comes back and tells him abt Life after death etc.. the 'casual' world and the 'astral' world..           ~*** You can tell By the way i use my walk, Im a woman's man, No time to Talk***~

Now since people are onto it, here are my $.02 on it. I started reading it like one month back. Since I only get to read in the night after a days work - i barely manage to finish more than 5 pages per night so I guess it will take me one year to finish it

Till the place I have finished, he has not talked about life and spiritualism in general as he is still searching for the teacher. Though one thing for sure - having a GREAT TEACHER always helps.

The author (Yogananda) must be Shakespeare in his last life. I have to take up dictionary now and then to understand meaning of half of the words he says. I guess, it will improve my vocab for the competetive exam i am going to take this year

This book was written a loong time ago. Ironically, a family friend owns the publishing house that first published this book. Became a best seller
His diction si damn old skool, very Anglo if u know what i mean. Coz he was educated and stuff during that era.. its all very 'proper'

@sorceress

Well, in taht case.. OOOPS ?
