its good to see people get in touch with themselves. of all the books published, this one really had an impact!
how many of us really take time out each day to sort of figure out who we are and what our purpose is here?
life is so fast paced nowadays, we hardly get any free time, and whatever time we get free always goes doing something else.
imagine a world where man is free, free from all attachments. where time is on our side and is used constructively for self realization. am i alone in this crazy world or is there still hope for mankind?

Actualy, i came to detroit to do almost the same... Came here for a few months to ease up on my 'pimp' lifestyle 
Needed a break from everythn goin on.. and its great.. I've read soo many books, d/l soo much music  and become an alcoholic
But seriously, I'm ravin to get back to college , graduate and do well.. I think everyone shud try what i'm doin. It works !!

U read my mind... I want to take a trip to Ladhak ( right spellin? ) or somethn.. head on to a Dharmashala and just forget this worldly lifestyle for a lil bit..

yeah ........i know what ya mean, its good to get away from the 'pimp' lifestyle! i feel goin away for college really broadens ur outlook on life in general and opens ppl up. its great doin new stuff n all, but very few are intrigued by the spiritual path n all. good to see i have some company.
ladakh n dharamsala is pretty much on my agenda too. me just thru with college so should be making that journey soon.

N as for u three going to Ladakh ........ that is an amazing plan i wish you all lucnlite but also try Kibber which is on the opposite side of Ladakh ..... its near or say in "Kaza" (chinese border ) and kibber happens to be worlds highest village and a population of nearly 300 souls
only communication is via sat. phone and that too doesnt work for 3 days in a week ......... but they do give good samosas if you ever feel homesick and then back to your monestry
