that is so typical of our mentalities. I wont point out certain ethnic groups coz thsi happens all over the world...
The stoppin of building shit because of some site being holy is such rubbish.
Ok.. yeah..what if its holy.. How do u define a site being holy. guaranteed a birth place or a death bed of a powerful, enlightened being or if an extraordinary thing occured than yeah, mayb eits great to revere and build some sort of monument to it.. but every damn thing has become holy for some narrow minded peopel who look at only wealth and power in this life. oh if only they knew. If only they knew that thsi life is just a steppin stone to somethn so great its unimaginable..
Even holy sites according to me, are nothing more than just centres of great energy levels... a sort of cosmic force has drawn the energy around us and channeled it to some spot .. and these are the places we bow down and kiss...
Simple energy man... and when we say Gods within us , its just an emphasis to thsi energy that moves and defines us...
ok.. nicotine break here I come...

@ KC that is exactly what i was trying to say ...............
There are people who do realise this and then when you do worship collectively you create a being who is supreme and my weird theory says that if metaphysically we created some supreme being which is a huge mass of energy then it is quiet possible that this energy was present in the universe along with the central black holes(which are present in each galaxy including the milky way as freak gravity and it did channel the energy to create the matter thus a living planet (as we call it)was formed (ref. to the theories and true findings in space) so its going around in circles but still we become the smallest part of the energy and gas family with "altered matter and powers of thinking/creating" which is non existent in the other matters of this universe which we know untill some other planet beings present themself with superior brain powers ........................... so the point being that the energy that gave us life is the one i refer to as GOD and do like to see them as faces ........ Now also there is quiet a possibility that there were super humans who possesed more energy and intellect that they were an integral part of the universe and thus it can be true of the stories we read of depicting these people as avatars .................... So again its all about energy .................. But not people in general would think about the energy and stuff coz they have been fed without letting them think by frightening them with religion by many religious groups .......
But the question again remains that what is the soul then ???????which no denying the fact do exist, and what is meant by spirituality ? So again the paradox begins that is there something more to the universe than just energy/mass/gases which can control its movement coz considering the fact that our galaxy's black hole is possiblly an alive one and is gulping down its tunnel the planets around and then turning it to energy at the speed of 5,40,000 kms/hr and still our solar system does not move an inch , since the universe at the same time is expanding .... so how come there is a balancing factor as at one side the galaxy is contracting in the middle and the outer spasce of galaxy is being stretched so we remain where we were thausands of years back .....................

hmm.. the science part baffled me somewhat. u need to talk to sorceress abt thais, its right up her alley..  but i understood the gist of ur message.
But what i want to light upon is the ' scaring of people with the name of " GOD" '...
Maybe this is the only similarity practiced by all religions.. Oh shit! dont do thsi.. dont do that.. women are inferior but u can have 10 wives... dont eat pork/beef but hey.. nobody gives a fcuk if u eat chicken and fish all year round....
Dont cut down trees, but where the hell u think the next batch of toilet paper is goin to come from.. my ass!! ( see the horrible pun.. )
What has been done to religion is something that we need to address right now!!.. and unfortunately or fortunately we can start by changin our attitude.. forget the masses man.. not goin to happen.. look what happend to those who really tried.. Jesus or more recently gandhi, luther king.. u name it.. their dead, and our only consolation is that their somehwere better..
but i get really pissed when i see some dude on the tv giving his sermons abt such Bullshit!!! Where do these ideas come from.. do they come from , teh fear of mordernism or the fear of having to finally look within us and realising 'im a real bum' !!
We need a mass production of 'true-self' mirrors on this global market.. maybe thats the only wake up call which can work...

I agree with you completely and detest seeing those TV preachers ,
The taboos need to be addressed but who is going to understand when you have public (at least in INDIA ) who protest aginst the best horror film "naina" coz they feel that its wrong to even fictionize any idea that scares them of no reason
and the US where they are afraid of the attacks by killer bees 
but yes atleast most of us in this generation do give a thght so it will take time and radically its difficult to change the beliefs

My take on Soul talk..........
Souls don’t represent all that is pure and good about a body or they wouldn’t be incarnating for personal development. Souls come to Earth to work on their own shortcomings. In terms of self-discovery, a soul may choose to act in conjunction with, or in opposition to, its own character in the selection of a human body.
As an example, a soul combating tendencies toward selfishness and indulgence might not mix well with a human ego whose emotional temperament is disposed to engaging in hostile acts for self-gratification.
Quite often, troubled people have suffered painful environmental trauma such as physical and emotional abuse as children. They have either internalised themselves, creating a shell to hide behind their pain, or externalised by mentally moving outside their bodies on a regular basis. These mechanisms are a means of survival to preserve our sanity.
When a client tells me that they love to ‘tune out’ and practice astral projection because the out-of-body experience makes them feel more alive, I look for disturbances. Indeed, I may not find anything other than curiosity, but an obsession with being away from the body indicates a desire to escape from current reality.
It is perhaps for this reason I am troubled by the walk-in theory as another escape mechanism. I believe the whole idea of walk-ins to be a false concept. According to the proponents of this theory, tens of thousands of souls now on this planet came directly into their physical body without going through the normal process of birth and childhood.
We are told that these possessing souls are enlightened beings who are permitted to take over the adult body of a soul who wants to check out early because life has become too difficult. Therefore, the walk-in soul is actually performing a humanitarian act, according to devotees of this theory. I call this possession by permission.

thats a very interestin point about the soul. I personally wud not have associated the tendency to astral project with some sort of trauma. But its a different way of lookin at this need to eitrher withdraw within ourselves or expand out of ourselves.
