having been away from this forum for almost 3 years, posts like this (not only riktam's but the other offtopics as well) reminded me the reasons why i chose to stay clear. i am writing this cos i know how easy it is to misunderstand someones words in a forum. and it's really easy to misunderstand the mood/spirit/attitude in which those words are written. well, i have to start by saying that my mood/spirit/attitude is totally friendly and without the slightest suspicion of sarcasm or arrogance.
my friend riktam, i think we will all agree that athenian seas suck (at least compared to islands) so i fail to see why you had to point it out. i didn't see anyone comparing athenian beaches to Asprovalta's beaches, so why did you feel the need to do so? or go even further and compare the capital with salonika (at least that's what i understood from ur post) in terms of festival organisation. who said that athens do it better? except if there was a post that got deleted, i didn't see anyone trying to compare anything. you are right about ellinares and it's a sad thing, but your post proves you are no less than these "ellinares" you describe. i honestly hope u understand i am not personally attacking you (i don't even know you), but i want to give you another perspective of your post.
i think this country has suffered too much from the athens/salonika complex we all more or less have. i say it's time we got over it. there's no contest who makes better food, who organises more/better festivals, who has the largest e-penis. we are all greeks and even more we are all human beings.
for the topic, i am really jealous i can't be at the festival  . if the organisers care about some constructive criticism, i personally feel that there are too many "first-class" names playing at afternoon hours, which (from my experience) is the most "dead" time of the day during a festival (people are resting/chilling). it would be a shame for artists like vibrasphere to play on a half-empty "dancefloor" for example. i hope i am proven wrong and people don't sleep for 5 days and dance non-stop! 
on the other hand, i understand the difficult position in which the organisers are, trying to fit all these artists in the timetable. after all the line-up is MASSIVE!

ticket prices for remaining days:
as from today saturday 22nd the price for the remaining time of the festival will be 100 euros
as from tommorow sunday 23rd the price will be 75 euros for the remaining time of the festival
as you probably might have heard the etnica/pleiadians live act is indeed cancelled.
all the other acts of the line up are confirmed and time table remains as programmed!!

I just came back from the festival (as I'm working tomorow) with mixed feelings:
Organisation was better, nicer sound system, deco, cleanliness, especially the sound system at the chill stage was GLORIOUS! Still no much shade... The chill stage wasn't ready in time because of a power failure... but these things happened
I hardly heard any music that I liked at the main stage Goasia, Fiteria, Protoculture, Tristan and Digicult are the only ones that I listened to and stood out.
Wanted to see Lauging Budha but was sleeping.
Most nights after midnight I though the music was crap and most of the time during the day.
At the chill stage the Ultimae crew (CBL, solar fields, aes dana, asura etc) ROCKED as usual, Banco De Gaia was FANTASTIC, Shulman was nice as a LIVE band although a track they played sounded a bit like something Remos or Pegy Zena would play, Xerxes was good as well.... Too bad I missed Entheogenic...
Can anyone tell me when Simon Baring played because he definetly didn't play when he was scheduled??
WHERE WAS THE ORB?
The whole programme was too jammed and there didn't seem to be much flow in the music-style at the main stage. I also feel that the quality of the festival was compromised by the Dark artists at night and the MASS number of Full-on artists.
The camping was VERY full so I'm glad that the organisers have made a good profit. A lot of people from the Balcans and the rest from the EU.
I just didn't have as much fun as last year, didn't like the music much either and hoped for more, the chill stage saved it in a way. I also felt there wasn't the same warmth and joy as last year... everything seemed kinda dull.
I suspect next year (if they decide to repeat it) is going to be even crowdier but I won't be there.
I hope all ppl have a fun time Monday and return home safe!

hello everyone!
i came back from aurora a couple of days ago..teo, harris and the rest of the crew had created an amazing atomosphere. and for such a big festival with about 100 international artists, you WILL have cancelations - you can not blame the festival for this. only thing they can improve is their website and updates on what is being played when and where etc. other than this - amazing sound and stages. they put a lot of money and effort into this being a supreme listening experience for everyone!
so thumbs in the air for the crew and the festival - definitly something i would love to experience again next year! hope you did ok financially too..
