28thday is pleased to announce the next in our series of free summer open-airs!

Come join us Sunday morning after the Metaforce event for...

Prog in the Park
August 20, 2006
New York City

Featuring:

REEFER DECREE (Iboga)

Oliver Bierlich Nonell, the creator behind Reefer Decree, Oryx and upcoming new project Oliver Jones, has put his forces towards the much awaited "re-launch" album of Reefer Decree! A project that started as a collaboration between Jiwook Bijl and Oliver Bierlich which was sadly terminated in the recent years, is hereby re-launched as a new project; Oliver Reefer is back! He is back using his creative individuality and cutting right thru to the essence of the Reefer sound with tender, touching, groovy and extremely funky material.

OSIRIS INDRIYA (Iboga Records | Oracle Gatherings | IOSIS Art Party)
http://www.osirisindriya.com

A legend of the west coast underground dance scene, Osiris Indriya has been deep into creating several projects. He has teamed up with Infinite Connections to bring the best of Europe’s tribal progressive trance music and world class art to the Pacific Northwest in a series of events called IOSIS Art Parties. As co-founder of the Oracle Gatherings, he is bringing a new paradigm in a growing dance community by integrating with the Northwest’s mythical undercurrent. All this has helped inspire the release of his all original progressive and downtempo CD, "Reach Within".

D-SPACE (LIVE) (Jay and Steve, Soular Records | D-Space Studios New England)
http://www.myspace.com/dspacestudios

D-Space (Soular Records from the way back) are together again after a three year exploration mission. Refreshed after their journey into the depths of innerspace and studio production, the lads have a new trance album in the works for you. They will be weaving together some live and kicking psygrooves made especially for a day in the park with our friends and family.

EQUISOL (PsyBooty Records | D-Space Studios SW, Florida)
http://www.myspace.com/equisol

Steve (Equisol) grew up around music. His grandfather and father were musicians, but his own musical experience has taken on a few different forms. However, that feeling, that certain energy he feels in sounds as they interlace themselves has tied all forms together. Currently he writes, produces, performs and mixes progressive trance and deep groove trance for the dance floor.

KARMAKANIK (Gaian Mind | PSI, Philadelphia)
http://www.gaian-mind.com

Mastermind behind the legendary Philadelphia Shamanista Initiative (PSI), Pat has rocked crowds up and down the east coast with both full-on and progressive psychedelic sounds. A true trance veteran with an ear for tunes that clean one's head and compel the body to dance... smooth yet crunchy, raw yet refined, psychedelicious and immensely satisfying. The Sound of the Philly Underground!

TONY UNORTHODOX (28thday, NYC)

Tony's been silently cultivating the nyc psytrance underground for several years, and his reputation as a purveyor of exceptional music is well-earned. Having recently rocked dancefloors at SubTonic and 28thday's Best of the West 5 beach party, Tony will once again share with us his immaculate taste in banging, sexy, funky-ass progressive.

-----------------------
This is a free morning/daytime event. Further details, including exact times and location, will be released on the 28thday mailing list.

Hmm, what's better than a free outdoor party? I guess a free outdoor party with f'ing heavy talent! Normally I am very skeptical of one person carrying on a duo's name, but I really, really enjoyed the Reefer Decree set at Voov last year-definitely a highlight of the festival for me. The rest of the lineup looks top-notch as well.

Will be last weekend in nyc too, what a nice way to go.

I heard him play a downtempo set in Seattle last year...and we are in for a treat           ~gOa ist nicht nur musik sondern auch eine lebenseinstellung~

HeLLooo alll ....!!!!

6362MetaForce has been receiving mails during the last few days asking about our involvement in this party... so just to be clear :: this is NOT a 6362MetaForce event...

We wish 28th day all the very best for their party, which has been scheduled as an after-party to ours........ but this is not an after-party that we are planning with them.....

We are all looking forward to a great weekend!!!! after a long dry summer in NYC, some serious happenings next week!!!! NYC is back in action.... !!!

While 28thday encourages people to go to both events taking place next weekend, as metaforce has stated there is absolutely no connection between us and them in regards to this or any other event; the statement at the begining of our post "come join us after the metaforce event" is merely an acknowledgement that they are having an event immediately before ours. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
