Let's make the last comments relevant... So if you set up two send fxs with the Ultrafunk on there, have one going around in one direction and have another going in the opposite, you could conceivably make sounds that are kind of chasing each other around the room... Usually I don't use this as a send effect but it would be really cool to send a bunch of sounds through these and basically make your sounds start flying all around... Pretty psychedelic if you ask me...

Hey man, do you maybe know a good one for mac as vst?would really like to got such a thing..

maybe this one ay?

will try it, but if you know a better one would be very cool

thanks alot..           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

that's a pretty good one actually... I'm really into finding panners that do more than left and right... this whole 3d sound concept more than wets my appetite...

Unfortunately that tip I gave doesn't really work as well as I would want. Apparently it can only go one direction, and so far I haven't found out how to make it reverse directions...

The workaround for this is to export the results of the sends for each channel to audio and perform a stereo flip on one of the sounds...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Pretty cool topic...
While reading this intriguing suggestion, I was thinking about the possibility to send this effect to an empty oscillator through a modulation matrix path within the channel. And then create a new send effect to spread this algorithm into other channels? Wouldn''t this work?

@moki take a look at a plug-in called proximity. to be honest, I never tried it myself, but I suppose it has some combination of panning, reverb and perhaps some slight frequency (spectral) tweaking to.

if anyone's using Live here, max for live has a tremendous library that's filled with all sorts of modulation devices that you can use to create movement (think of it like CV signals) that you can atribute to anything you like, including panning, so setting up some buses with things moving one direction or the other should be a no brainer.

tons of interesting plug-ins for all other platforms as well.

Proximity, ok, it's on my to do list, thanks. But my question refers to the possibility to drag or import any plugin effect and to let "the oposites chaise each other in the room" , and then (and this is the tricky part) to route this effect to the next unused oscillator in the synth of the channel. For example route it through the modulation matrix, first of all detach the new oscillator from the influence of the effect, then set osc to destination into the effect and do what you want with filters, lfos, sequencers and arpegiators to modify your effect. The effect would then be dynamic and dependent on your new osc input. Create two effect channels and place a chasing direction to each. Would this work? Ok, whatever, watching some tutorials in youtube is the best to do;)

sidechain is the answer you can add many scchains to get more movement, dynamic ,one is route to the kick classic and basic next sc is route to the arp, next sc is route to the bass, whatever your creativity can, also you can pan the return channels...           d(((+_-)))b

@moki

http://www.cableguys.com/pan-cake.html

this will allow you to do anything you want with panning, similar to automation but works as an insert for a send effect. there's many other solutions available, this one is cool and free.

you can easily route things so that you have two independent mono channels (left and right) with two such inserts, just delay (sample delay) one and you have the "one chasing the other" thing. and of course you can process them separately to taste as well.

or run two sounds through the same automation and then adjust to taste, delay one a bit...

if you want to feed this through a synth again, then it needs to have an audio input option.

if you want to do all this on a synth, it's got to have some kind of "split" mode, which means you feed two filters with two separate signals, which you can further modulate to taste. on some synths, it's possible to delay one of the LFOs, this would also make the "one chasing the other" effect if set to something like filter panning or other similar parameter. that's all possible to do with the Virus or Albino or other similar (in structure) synths.
