Hello dear isratrance musicmakers.

I am pretty sure all of us has their own little tricks regarding send effects while producing.

I thought i might start the sharing of the tips and tricks.

Im on Cubase SX3 btw.

What i do is i Create FX Channel, goes to reverb folder, adds Reverb A.

I put the:

Predelay at 0.0ms
Roomsize at 20
ReverbTime at 0.20s
wet/dry 100/100

and then i use it on channels that needs a bit of "phattening", dont add too much thou.

I am pretty sure that i am not the only one using this little "trick". But since u rarely watch other people work their systems i thought it might be a good idea to start a thread about it, if people are willing to share their little dirty producing tricks which i am pretty sure some are.

cheers

I've done this before, you just have to be careful not to get things sounding too messy. I just don't like to use this with any percussion or leads that you want to sound prominent in the mix, since those reverb settings sorta make it sit under the rest of the mix.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

sends are the fundament of proper mixer routing, one reason why i love logic because it works so great easily there.

I am not that big < 20ms reverb fan. But offcourse I use reverbs in sends only.

What I do also is sometimes is to have sends into filtered distortion-strips or to a gater behind a noise oscillator to pump up things more up.

there are lots of things you can blend in to make your sounds fatter.

2 things not mentioned yet: a ringmod and the same signal vocodered with another element of the track           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

hello guys....great topic...
About using reverb in send effect....
we can use that send effect at the samme time with more than 1 vst???
i now that is possible, but i want to now if thats can create "little problems", because i do it in the last track i have made, but somme times i lose apparent volume in one synth and gain in other....maybe the problem is another about other thing....but i want to now if its possible to damage or not using the send effect at the same time with diferent synth...???
sorry the mess. my english dont help too

the first thing i do, when i start a new project, i open a group chanal, called ALL IN, and mute its volume, in the insert effects i put voxengo span (spec.analyzer).
i send every instrument in this group, now its exactly showing me, what im hearing.

im sure this is a common thing, but not posted yet

There's an ultrafunk plugin I think called surround that should do exactly what you want...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Let's make the last comments relevant... So if you set up two send fxs with the Ultrafunk on there, have one going around in one direction and have another going in the opposite, you could conceivably make sounds that are kind of chasing each other around the room... Usually I don't use this as a send effect but it would be really cool to send a bunch of sounds through these and basically make your sounds start flying all around... Pretty psychedelic if you ask me...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

and for all logic folks: pan -> binaural panner -> activate doubler and start automating           https://soundcloud.com/hazak
