Damn, I am IMPRESSED! I really love all the tracks. Full on is a style I really connect with, and this album really hit the spot!

But most of all, and I am surprised no one has mentioned it in this forum: The production! Shit, this has got to be one of the best sounding full on albums I have heard. The bass and drums are so pumping it hurts. Delicious... And I DO like On Fire.

Production has improved a great deal, also musicaly...

Astrix is really a man of ideas...

Also i think we have more than one "album of the year" this year... at least if you like many kinds of sounds and music....

I think this is an amazing album.

Im totally blown away by techno widows the most but consider this from start to finish a really polished album. He has really developed from his previous album.

Great work avi!

Would love to hear this out loud in the bush one morning as the sun rises. Im sure thats what was intended for it.

Not the worst full on album this year, but to be honest I was hoping for more from Astrix. The two year old “Eye To Eye” album is still one of my favourite full on releases, and “Artcore” simply didn’t touch me nearly as much.

The fact that people have different favs. further underlines how diverse in many ways this album really is, and it even gets better after severel listens.           "Love is a way of life"

I think Astrix is responsible for killing psytrance. In his Eye to Eye album he introduced the classic full on recipe. Start with some atmospheric sounds from some sample cd, or some melody or pad, then stop it and introduce the kick and bassline and start building the percussion. Then come the usual synthesizer sounds used as percussive instruments palying the same note. Then stop everything and start playing a killer melody that starts incresasing in volume. Then stop and start the melody with the bassline and high hats. Then stop and use the synthesizer sounds as percussion again. And since that release evryone has been using the same old recipe. It is getting too old and even annoying. I expected from Astrix for his new album to throw away the recipe and make a new one that everyone will start following untill his next album. But he dissapointed me. Same old shit. Even the ambient one is almost a copy of the one he made for the 13 crystal skulls. At least there are artists like Infected mushroom who are not afraid to take a gamble once in a while, even if that means that a lot of people won't like their music. OK. I know I will be crusified now, but that's my honest opinion. We cannot always agree with everything.

Nobody is gonna crucify you.
I partially agree with what you said and some tracks on this album are, well, the same damn thing. but I gotta give props to Underbeat which in my opinion... is amazing. and I unlike you really really like both Sex Style and Beyond The Senses. wish Astrix would focus on that style more than the regular full on killers(Fire, Tweaky...).
