i thing everything incl a message.
the way you breath its a message not necesairy for smbd or for smtng.
the way you talk, the tone of your voice, the way you look smtng.
every react its a message to space.
some ppl can get it some others no its not big deal...
the important is that you act some how and you let free smtng fro inside
offcourse theres is a message , in psy trance ,in rock, when you see dog screaming or a guy to heat the head in the wall depense what are you ready to analyze.for me....

Music is full of messages! Every music has a message that the artist wants to transmit to the people...It's up to you to feel the message and like it or not...

the only messages i "experienced" through psytrance is more or less "lets party" or "lets chill"...
and party is what they are made for.

so i guess every artists has the party message, or not.           - last possible solution
- trick music
- ambivalent records

the thing if you are aware of `message` or better some sort of information in music (represented through tonality or rhythmic patterns or whatever), is how conscious you really are ...

there is `message` in every composition ... even the artist sometimes doesn`t know, what he brought from the other side ...

it`s up to everyone to choose, if it speaks to them or not ....

very simply said

aahhhh loved this thread. reminds me why i got into isratrance from the begining...to justify my elitistic prick behaviour and witness an expression for it by others!!! no i'm kidding, or not.

anyways as an artist, i write tracks influenced by every little thing in my life, it can be political, emo, spiritual or just plain agressive. i just don't relate to the whole "the dj is responsible for my mental safety" perspective. it's getting to much for you? to fast? no prob bro go sit and have a cold one

i kinda like the psytrance/hardcore punk fusion, but i totally understand why others don't. living in israel and once being a part of the hardcore punk community it kinda feels that if i could've mixed trance music with the hardcore punk show's vibe it'll be fucking great. don't know maybe it's just me but i feel more tension and agression in some nature parties (even with mellow proggy beats pumpin') then i felt at a grindcore/crust show . oh and and vegetal if "they" would know the name of jamey jasta's main band they'd ban ya from here foool ) so unpsy of you! you dark soul bringing your political vibe into out holy circle.

ohh the gentle politics of refering to yourself as a psy producer, a recipe for judgemental observation by the elite squad of stompers. i liked trance in the begining because i had just discovered drugs and nothin' mixed better the the two, that's the awful truth. i kept on liking because i saw a platform in it, so powerfull you could put anything you want on top of that platform to express you're creativity. and then i started making killahhrolling bass tunes...hey that's my modulation of that platform. my sincere apollogies.

what a bunch of wankers ere. peace to the person enjoying the musiq without forming any spiritual vibes and no messages. peace to those who want to experiment with consciousness and see psychedelia as a way of breaking the chains and letting go having a mystical experience. we are there on the floor together enjoying ourselves together. Unity.

no need to be rude, each has their own experience and it will do nothing but anger and give negative vibes trying to seperate us into groups and badmouthing what people enjoy/do.

p.s: for all those who think 60's movement didnt change anything, failed, I am sad for you fellows. Either you are uber blind and do not respect the fought values, freedoms and the changes it brought or you are taking for granted many of the norms it challenged, continues to challenge and all the good movements that sprung from that decade. Man f you
Tell that to my relatives who was murdered by the turks, tell that to my grandfather and grandmother who fled armenia because of the turks.
Tell that to my father who wasn´t even born in his country, he was born in a refugee in Syria because of the turks.
You are one sad Goon, seems you´ve been recruited by turkish authorities and swallowed every lie they could ever come up with.
Do you deny the jewish genocide as well?           Demand recognition for the Armenian genocide 1915

the two posts above demonstrate to me why there is no place for politics in psytrance. please go fight somewhere else, thank you!
