I think both sides of the argument have right points. you can think that something is missing and if it were this way it would be better, thats one of the things that makes some artists remix the tracks I guess. Its also good for the artists themselves as when they hear different perspectives to their tracks, they can take the opinions and if it suits their style, they can improve themsevles.
of course, all of these must be done in a way not to disrespect the piece of art that the artists produce. their tracks are produced in a way that they themselves wanted to make it, from their own perspective.
