If it's so easy then why dont you make your own music? Dont you think that a track is as it's surposed to be? You dont go to an art gallery and tell the painter that his picture need more blue color

it happens to me all the time, listening to a track and imagining things to put on top, or how the track could be remixed

EP, if the track is supposed to be one way, thats a thing...

Now, that doesn't stop u from having a diferent prespective and wanting to change or add something, i see nothing wrong with it, but the oposite, I see creativity.

And that creativity was already inspired by the music itself, so the artist that made the track is inspiring and influencing others to create, why shouldn't they do it?

I can't even understand how one can listen to a track of any kind, without sometimes instantly creating something that goes with the music in his head, like a voice or a melodie...I think its almost natural...at least for me it is

Also, I have lots of friends that are painters and designers, and I give coments saying what I would change all the time...and they enjoy it, it shows u have really made an effort to get into their art and take your personal view of it....whats wrong with it?

I always have the secret desire to take tunes and remix them. I think that one day i'll do it just for the fun. Tracks like Human Blue - Dream Creator.
This track is an amazing one but it just screams for some intense full-on approach.
I just can't help it.
Maybe one of these days           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Elysium...take a deep breath...
why do u take it so hard,he only said he feels things are missing and yes u can FEEL that the pic' is missing somthing even if it was meant to be like that...FEELING is a personal thing u know, and if an art critic would think its missing somthing he would write about it.
Eliran i feel that often but mustly i feel it about old tracks that are still good and i would like to RMX with better fresher sound...Elysium...take a deep breath...i know how hard it is and i admire the artists that do a good job,i hope to be able to produce quality music and have people want to RMX it.
have a nice TRIP.

I am totally relaxed djnomolos... I think you misunderstood my point and saw it as if I am upset which I am not

All I say is, and I can only speak for myself, that when I make a track is surposed to be the way it is and not the way someone else think it should be like. That does not mean that another person dont see something else in it (thats when a remix is done) but how can the original track be missing something when it's the way I want it?

And again I come to the point which is that if someone think a track should sound different then that person should sit down and create music the way he/she think it should sound like

Bitmonx built his carreer on taking other people's tracks and 'fixing' mistakes. To this day I think his best material is NOT his solo work.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

dude people like u piss me off.. it sounds like u have that jack of all trades, master of none attitude... u cant just take someone's work and rip it to shreds?! that goes with art/design as well as music! as Elysium Project puts it, its easier said than done. everyone thinks they can do something better than the artist/designer/musician intended... what the hell??

it takes hard work to create something, whatever the medium.

if u're in that trade, fine. just dont let me hear accountants and stockbrokers giving artists and musicians advice...

wow...

well, im not that guy who go`s around and fix everything i dont like
its just that the costumer has every right to say what ever he thinks about the product.
and yes, art... other then love, is also a product.
ofcourse he should express himself in a constructive way, and not destructive.

the guy (eliran17) only asked a question of taste imo.
so to jump around with a defensive attitude - "its my work and u cant say shit about it" is a bit funny to me, maybe even harsh.

i wont go stright up to the artist and say what i think (for bad or for good), but if he will ask 4 my opinion i will sure tell him what i think.

and im very sorry that i pissed u off man...

I am with yossi here, till certain extent.. When a customer buys a product he buys also the right to critisize the product or not to be satisfied with the product, same as he can be super happy about it. The thing is, that here it ends, and except of writing a review there is nothing customer can do about it.

The ones who can, may ask the artist for the files and make a remix that satisfies their personal taste, since there is no right or wrong here.

But OFCOURSE critisizm of some kind is important especially for art, to make the artist aware of what his creations do to others, and sometimes it even brings a kind of awareness about future ways and works           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

Just dont expect that the artists will always listen ...

I agree with Yossi too in certain extend... Of course a costumer should be allowed to critisise the product and critisism can be very valuable and constructive BUT at the end of the day if the customer dont like the product then dont buy it

Remix are nice but not nessesarily what the artists wanted with his/her music. In the end it's the artists feelings and emotions that should be reflected in his/her track.. Not someones idea of what it should sound like.

hey no tears here, im just perplexed as to how po-mo attitudes can validate themselves in how they feel they can do everything better is all.... commentary never hurt anyone, and feeback is more often than not generally seen as constructive...

i understand u fully dude! u can say whatever u wanna say about it man, i just dont dig it when guys think things could've been done better if they had done it themselves. if thats the case, then do it by all means, give it a try and see how hard creativity in all its states can get... no offense to u yossi, just passionate about this is all...
