hehe thanks Dopey, I will be there again this year (upgraded of course) to continue making balagan! Hope to see you, and all other burners and party people there! The word on the street is that it is going to be the best Burning Man EVER!!

well it was great to hear gms and xdream and the like at bman in 99..music has evolved since then and burningman has changed greatly...burningman was a much more free place in 99 and the trance stage was partially funded by burningman the community dance..that was an impressive year trance everywhere...of course burningman isnt and never will be a trance party its many things to many people..but for sure the bman organziation pulled back there much needed support to make such a huge trance event happen..so now its up to the individuals...start raising money now...

Well spun records should be carefull of this. If they promote the lable or sell any cd's or anything they will get shown the door (Or at least asked to stop).
BurningMan will not allow any pictures or vidio to be used to promote GMS or Spun. Blue room used to have a camp years ago at BurningMan but times have changed and they do not look kindly on artists useing the event to promote.
All the rules aside. If they have a good sound system they will have a blast. The Playa is the best place for trance IMO. I will look forward to a Zorba set in the early morning after the BUrn. |

Bah everyone knows that was 96. The last year of chaos before all the people and the rules started in.

I'd like to know if any of u have info , how foreigners can be placed somewhere like a camp. I am flying from Brazil alone, so it's impossible to have such good structure with me (tend, sleep bag...). Does anybody knows trance camps to join, or at least a group of trancers to join ???

Again i have to ask if any of you know of the limitations on sound systems this year. Last year the monstrous 8 point Sol System pissed off alot of organziers, including Bman founder Larry Harvey, who has unhappily woken up numerous times by said system. Be prepared, if you want to dance to anything more than a pair of self powerd mackies you will probably have to venure farther out into the open playa |

Non of the guys at spun are gonna be doing like promos, handling cd's or stuff like that, they're goin as burners! just with the little difference that they will perform there, Sol system will be rocking the dancefloor once again this year so if there was such a problem last year why the organizers didn't rejected them for this year's burning man? they may play there if they don't set a camp somewhere on the outisides far away from the people. |

I hear the limitations are the same this year as they'd been the last 3 or 4 years - every system larger than 300 Watts has to be at 2 or 10 o'clock (the outlying edges of the city). They say they're going to be more strict about enforcing it this year, but that's what they say every year...
The amazing Sol System will be there too, from what I hear. I don't know of any strictly psy camps, except the Spun system rumor.. but if I end up going, you can count on hearing some dark twisted tunes, somewhere, at some point. 
BrunoMod - last year there was a BMan Hostel camp with a bunch of international ppl camping. I think some Isratrance people were camping there. You might want to check bbs.burningman.com - the bm forum. You could probably find something there.

I agree, If you are looking just to find psy trance... don't go. I definitely had a hard time finding trance, especially the progressive side of psy... but I found myself listening to so many different types of music... and seeing so many beautiful things and people. It is an unbelieveable experience, and trance is just .000000001% of it. You are 100% a part of it. If you haven't gone, just go!! I gaurantee you will have the best time of your life... and if you don't go, don't worry, I'll be there having the best time of my life! oh yea BRING A BIKE...
