Are You Shpongled is the best as allways... It's much more electronic and psychedelic... floating moods.... those weird synth melodies that I like....
electronic weird rythms
Just what I'd expect from simon.
from the second one I love Room 23 though...

I think Tales of the Inexpressible is just a much more complete creation than Are You Shpongled - and this is from someone who fell in love with Are You Shpongled at the first hearing. Are You Shpongled is more heavily electronic all the way, but it never has that free flowing atmosphere that made Tales of the Inexpressible so beautiful. While Divine Moments of Truth was the 'dmt' track on the first, we had A New Way to Say Hooray on the second - while the first was with much more in-your-face sounds twisting all over the place, the second album had such a vivid atmosphere that you can actually feel the world created by the music.
They're different, but Tales is a more mature creation - less focus on making it psychedelic, more on making it damn good music.

tales, by a million miles
i must say i was suprised when i plunged into the 'community' and discovered everyone prefers the 1st one... imho its just not a patch on tales
still... i guess i look for different things in music to the average psytrance-head

100% are you shpongled?
the all time deep mental voyage. as light said, tales is another album i own....everytime i hear are you shpongled i still can feel its power and it sends tingles down my spine.
the deep beauty of this piece of music is beyond compare...

Well,I like both.
The first one was a big surprise so,you add this factor.
"Tales of..."it`s really a masterpiece with even more production and fusion.
But......What`s the point to compare???

When I am drinking my coffee I like listening to tales... Late in the evening I prefer listening to are u shpongled... Both are perfect!!! I also love the divine moments of truth ep with the rmx of dmt, great piece of music there
