and what do u do to relax?
O.K
here's a topic that started in some other thread but didn't develop
I know that I'm always excited during the day of the party.
And a few hours before, I'm like hyperactive.
What do u do to relax?

Yep, I know exactly what are talking about.
Good sex and chilum after it and you are 100% relaxed.
(At least it works for me). :-) |

I used to get nervous & excited before parties but after some years it just faded. wheather I like it or not..
so each party I go to, even a well produced one, I just don't feel any big expectations from it. so whether it turns to the good side or the bad side - I try to enjoy whatever happens. :)

There's always That Friday Night Feeling Syndrome (henceforth TFNFS :)), which I always feel not because of the party, but because the week is over, and that I'm going to blast some good energy in the system one way or the other. Some other classic symptoms of TFNFS include aggitation (especialy in the area of 4 hours before the party), need to feel organized and ready, a good feeling about what's going to happen soon...
And the #1 symptom - the need to party :) |

Solved by preparing for the party, calling of friends that might join the ride, visiting a couple of mates and a good yeshiva with some groovy music (Hendrix always works, but the shift to trance is inevitable at a certain point - when TFNFS starts to become uncontrolable), and then, when ready, leaving to the party.
Get to the party, meet as many people there as you know, have a cup of tea, check out the setup, play some music from the car, and when you feel ready (you'll feel it), go to the party, and use all of that energy from the TFNFS that has been building up :)
That's how it works for me :) |

That's one of the things that gets me excited
all of these phone calls with friends, and the lapse of time between every phone call becomes more often.
Trying to find a ride for everybody (and trying to see if everybody's well organised ;-))
Setting a meeting place
And sitting at a friend's place, smoking and dragging time.
Doesn't that make you even more nervous? |

Well, something that always works for me, just go with it. You can't fight TFNFS (:)), so just flow with it, enjoy it :) |
