Are there no Psy scenes in Dubai. Help needed

I recently came to dubai, n could not find any place with psyscenes, this place seems to have some strict restrictions with the D scenes, but still feels sad how they, the people of dubai r missing the festival of sound n light. Is psy scenes dead here due 2 the rules, or if there r scenec happenning here, would love 2 know, can someone help plz.

Hey mate..ya i was in dxb too a while back..thought i could do some gigs there..its good only for the commercial scene..the bolly hip hop and 'Enrique' culture is rampant.i came back with the knowledge only a commercial do would do well.Again i have my doubts as to how many of the real psybabas do actually den out there..how many would turn up if v do a gig there..
and again as far as you asking about the rules..yea its because of the rules that no1 has ventured into it..a city which boasts of less than 2% corruption rate would never have its cops compromising on their regulations!
i suggest you come to bbay and bask in its culture mate!

dude...
if u expect a psy scene in dubai with all the D's then pal ur in the wrong part of the world...well i do know of small scenes goin on nearby (not big scale) jes a few friends meeting up listenin to some psy together .....
u can try doin tht on ur own....thts the only thing whch will keep u safe..
don mess with the cops there..!

hey bro...
as far as psy-scene in dubai is considered...its nothing out there...very few ppl listen to psy-trance there..but ud find many listening to tech-trance ..n even having clubs for it..n as many said..jus dont get urself into with cops for anything at all...

Psy Scene......what psy scene??? Dubai is the worst friggin place in the world for psy!! Closest thing to psy was Paul Oakenfold in Nov 2004.....imagine!!! I moved here around 15 months back from Bombay and the D scene was pretty fullon till those 4 dudes from Bombay got busted @ Imperial Suites last year. After that bust, theres been no scope....
I've had friends who've spent 30 days in the slammer for driving after a couple beers man! Dubai cops are not the people you wanna mess with....have to go back to Bombay 2 - 3 times a year for my psy dose!

I've been living in Dubai for 3 years now. I know of only 3 other people here who are into Psy-trance. We get together once in a month or so & have our own small parties. All psy-lovers in & around Dubai please contact me & we'll jam  together. The more the merrier.
