bit mangling with an analog filter,
i believe bit reduction is essential in psytrance, used sparingly and gently it can boost harmonics perfectly before a filter

seriously worth checking out,

for analog delay i use the always noisey and cheeper than chips BiYANG delay, £30
cheep, did i say cheep, goes through batteries quicker than justin beber goes through dead virgins

whole lotta biscuit for the money

cheers nectarios, will look deeper into this

Massive drooling over the sound.
It sounds so unique, that's one of the most musical analog filters I've ever heard. This little box went under my radar for so long, its just brilliant.

would be a good addition to the spare fx loop in the pre ti virus's

Yup, I reckon this is going to make the Virus C sound 10 times better and give a different appeal to the Lead 1...and the Slim Phatty and the Minitaur and the x0xb0x.
If that had wooden cheeks on and had the Moog logo, it would cost about a grand and would have every Moog fanboy jump up and down.

Thank God it does not.

Excited!

+1. Which is another reason why I prefer buying new analog gear that sounds great, will last for ages and even has a warranty.

what i wonder mate is the sound really change with time, maybe our analog gears will sound amazing in 15 years..

cause i was reading about someone saying the new ms20 sounded like his ms20 when he got it new.. but now his sound way more dusty ,less clean..

same for tr909 808 303 ect.. these are supposed to sound all a bit different now

Apparently they sound flatter over time.

analog delays are pretty dark, kinda filtered

but thats the whole charm and why theyre not really meant to be used as a delay effect. more of a smoothing in the track that gives a sense of depth and mood.

or if you go old school and feedback the output and go for dubs

this is why i love tracks like this

besides . musics too bright these days anyway

in my older days im preferring a more organic headroom
