An old school goa trance return

Soon, i hope a return of the old school goa trance or more projects with trance goa sounds and atmospheres 
because this is the music ! this is the trance !
this is the music who make me dreams, feelings, good vibes.... It's creativity music and no boring. I think the full on and new projects (neo full-on or anything...) is too boring and not a great creativity (alien project hahaha.... very creative lol) for example. Of crouse i like some full on projects and artists bud for me the feelings and the spirit of our music is in goa trance !
many projects are here : filteria, ypsilon 5, ethereal, etnica / pleiadians, jupiter 8000 and more... bud you've need more, always more...
I'm very sad to see the trance evolution since 2000 about.
Too full on.... too too too. a lot of ressemblancebetween full on albums or compils. Always the same thing.
Happy to see prog is here, and minimal, tech trance and ambient / chill out are here because just full on :/ :/ :/ imagine....
no no no, i think a come back of goa trance is important for us.
and you ? which are your feelings about that ?

I prefer a return to psychedelica...
Full-on and prog are thin on that...Ditch the predictable house, techno and club influences, make it more experimental and far out...and I will be happy. |

I don't think so, did you listen to Parasense, Kindzadza, Nommos, Dark Nebula, Neuromotor and so on.
They definitly not boring and lot more psychedelic than this old school stuff.
There is a lot wanna be old school stuff that isn't really psychedelic coz it is boring and slow.
But there is also good stuff like The Misted Mupped and Spacetribe for example.
But we all like different stylez and there will always different styles be avaible.
So there shouldn't be any problem to get the music you like.

dark nebula is certainly not full on, it's dark psytrance, kindzdza and parasense are psyche/mental psytrance...
these 3 are never full on

Sadly, I don't think Goa Trance will ever have a come back in the trance scene. The noobs in the scene have transformed what we used to call psychedelic. They wanna hear quick fix dance floor 15 minutes of fame artists, who are doing the same old crap over and over again. They don't want emotion, love, and spirit... They just want to dance. Psy has lost its passion, and I don't think it will return. |

In someway you're right, but posting something like this is only gonna bring more hate into to the scene.
Making full-on (specialy with a vb-1) is like playing FIFA in easy mode, you're always sure to win. |

Look at the psychedelic crowd now... It ain't what it used to be. It's nice that artists are getting world wide recognition and all that. But, in this process... They expanded into other genres of music such as plain techno, house, progressive, etc... The fans of these styles are not the ordinary 'psy heads'.
The reason I like(d) goa trance was because it was different than all those styles. It had a meaning more than "lets get down on the dance floor, and lame-o cities of the future cheese vocals". It had a purpose, and really impacted my life like no other music style could. It was 'me'.
Point: Psychedelic Trance has grown quite large, and is the latest fad accross the globe. 'Most' people don't like music they have to think about, thats a fact, whether anyone disagrees with me or not. This results in standard dance tracks, for the dance floor. Nothing more, nothing less.
