Are you trying to tell me that recent psy has these things? It's mindless copy after a copy dance tracks.
Psy trance has become a 'DJ Tool', just like every other style. You used to be able to sit down, and listen to an artists album all the way through, and enjoy every minute of it; you'd feel something special while doing so. Now, you pick the best one that will fit in your 'mix'. Why do you think these psy cds move so fast these days? I haven't heard anyone say the word 'classic' in the past few years. All the classic and rememberable albums where produced in the mid-late nineties by amazing artists. Now we we got a million producers popping up out of no where, following the same old formula GMS and astrix created some years ago. It's time for something new...! |

than tell me about emotions
they have it all
it has much more power than full on with exciting melodies, very impressing tricks
and intelligent rhythms and breaks and so on...
no just rhythms in track or just basslines...
or just melody
talking about pure masterpiece with all the musical elements!!! |

for me artist from millions others who are making their own style is depressing.
it should be all those millions other styles
without just rythms and basslines.

Hey Stato, don't get so upset. If you patu attention, you will see that there are a lot of fresh goa-like trance tracks around. Sure, it isn't like it was in early 90s, it's a little faster and the melody has changed a bit. But all in all, it's better than full-on and the likes. Try Cosmo Chaos last album for instance, very very good. And I've just got Kuro's "reCall" in my MD player right now...just wonderful. Good trance, very spacey.

My feelings ? I agree... there is too much s..t is being released since 2000. And i'm tired of this crap. Evolution = yes, new sounds/waves/genres = yes, but what is the price ? "Pollution" of this beautifull music. Goa is lost :/ In the ocean of s..t , among "one release" labels, awfull debutes, tragic compilations, there is harder to find a real pearl.
But... there is still hope ! The spirit of goa trance is present in a few new projects: Ethereal & Ypsilon 5 ( bravo Tranceform rec. ! ), Jupiter 8000 & Electric Universe... same "old" Boris, glad to hear u again, good work !
Maybe it is time of reneissance in trance and return to the source... goa.
At least i hope so.
