Requisites: sun (most of the year), palms, sea&beaches, hotels&restaurants (nearby), liberalism (incl. to noisy night parties, etc.), locals speaking English...
Any ideas?

Yeah Cambodia is good, like Thailand but more liberal.

If not how bout Madagascar? Never been there but heard it's nice.           «They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.»

San Pedro Atitlan, Guatemala. we dont have palms nor sea, but beautiful beaches in the shores of the lake, great fullmoon parties, surrounded by 3 amazing volcanoes in the highlands of a magical country. its a full time psychedelic experience!

Oh, forgot to add: the place should now already have some (however small) goa/psy parties scene (people&facilities).

Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more.

It is not that important (an extra 20 USD for a week stock wouldn't ruin you)

There are no alternatives to Goa.

But yes, some old freaks told me that Brazil is coming in a big way.
But then again.....what are parties without chillums.

There is a beautiful world out there.

If you are worried about the charas, try the plants of power from brazil or from any other place of latin america.

so good.

I think the area around Tulum in the Mayan Riviera has serious potential to become a psy destination. Here are the reasons why:

1) Fantastic beaches

2) Amazing Natural Wonders. The whole area is full of "cenotes" which are cristal clear limestone waterholes that are all connected through a labirinth of underwater caves. Simply Incredible for swiming or diving:

3) Affordable places to stay:

4) Ecological and Artistic communities sprouting there:

Beyax area:

5) Its a Maya area with decent ancient sites nearby and some excellent ones which you can visit in one day. So that cultural aspect makes the area very interesting and somehow mysterious. And it would also be the perfect place to make a killer party on 2012.

6) there is already a history of psy parties there in amazing locations.

Though I don't know what the police situation is there, I mean how bad with the drugs and all the stuff. But I am thinking that if we are to obvious and irresponsible any place will bring problems eventually.

Anyways, this area is a place to consider.
