Who gave you the idea that i listen to psytrance only?
Im just a lover of the whole specter of electronic music, and im having a part of them all, but damn in this genre particulary i found this bizzare writings for artists, which in the case of other genres i didnt.
I respect all kind of artists not only music, but the real ones not the ones using hiperbolas. If we all had bands at 6 years we were about to be Mozarts today. (a quote from a friend)

volvox i think u are a bit generalizing - if u could use examples im sure your point will be better received. right now youre sounding like youre saying this to a whole lot of people who might not be included in your hyperbole theory... how can you prove that these people are not what you claim they arent.... seems like a tough one to me.

also - i think other genres have fakers and exaggarators as well... dont u?           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

True surrender, it does sound generalized, but after reading about 20-30 same bio writings damni felt it in general. Other genres sure have fakers and stuff but at least i havent seen so large amount of bizzare writings as this.
What good does it get if the dude played in a rock band for 20 years, and he released a psytrance album after having electro hardware for 6 months?
So whats the point of i was playing with casio synth at 3 years old? Does that make me a Mozart?

again man, until you speak in specifics, i cant really connect to your statements.
about this statement:
"What good does it get if the dude played in a rock band for 20 years, and he released a psytrance album after having electro hardware for 6 months? "
what do u mean what good? --- whats bad about that? an artist can only have one facet? we live in an age of electronics and home studios, where people can express their talent (big or small) much more easily then ever before! and more people can do it everyday... i think its a wonderful thing.

Sry for freak point of view but here it is.

Many artists just produce psytranc einstead of rock, metal or pop they started with because simple fact that this music requires less talent, creativity, knowledge or any other thing can be used by musician. Common in metal you need to sing, to know notes, to play instruments. In Psytrance you just press some buttons and tweak some parameters.
Psytrance is looser musician music!

!!!! Wow, controversial post on a psytrance forum

I admire your balls mate, but I disagree with your opinion. I think different kinds of music require different skills from those that make it. You couldn't put most rock guitarists or vocalists in Posford's studio and ask them to pull something like LSD out of the hat willy nilly, just as you probably could hand Posford over to Marilyn Manson and expect him to produce a successful metal/goth/angsty teenage album.

Sorry, probably bad examples there but you get the point XX

yayy! i'm a loser musician!

i hope you're not listening to psy trance because that would make you a...

to volvox box: i once thought about it a bit like you but then i realized that it might be jealousy. i wasn't practising any instrument at age 3 or 10 or even 15. nower-days i hope i would have. but it doesn't stop me from producing music and learning to play instruments. don't compare other people's talents with your's it's a waste of time. compete with yourself and not against others...

Haltya dude,
I am frustrated from copying biographies just like music. I am happy for the ones that had real experience in early days with instruments, at least i know i can expect something real from them, not scifi.
And thumbs up for your Forest Flavour masterpiece.

i´m also a loser.

started as drummer in death metal band around age of 16.. all our bandmembers were bad: terrible vox, out of rynthm bass and drums without power. except guitarist who later played in good thrash metal band.

so since i was to bad musician for rock / metal i started years later with electronic music LOL
