How much more bizzare these statements can go on ?
Chesus Christ when i was 13 i didnt even knew how to clean my ass after shitting, but probably i was defekted i see there are some extraordenery people that played drums and bass guitar in an underground metal bands when they were 13 and then on 14 bought a computer and electrogear and they went into producing gabber and hardcore and then on 15 they were attracted by psytrance and started producing . . . like a fairytale.
At least be real . . .

 i don't know... i played guitar in bands from age 12 until like 1997 when i moved to electronic music... i started studying the instrument when i was only 9 years.... i never considered it to be too uncommon to start playing an instrument young. don't most parents encourage their children to play an instrument?

But damn i never played into a band no band wants a 3 bit casio synth . . . learning casio synth is a bad investment in music, since 12 year old children make plans for their future music career and start investing into learning an instrument.
U was probably supposed to move to 3 or 4 others genres that was about to bring you experience in more music genres, you was about to be a much better psytrance "actor" now . .
Dont get me wrong . .

When I was 12 I started playing viola in school, I played in the school orchestra and several smaller chamber music groups... I remember being 13 and 14 hearing old electro and the like being played on the radio and really enjoyed the stuff I was hearing. My mom got me in to soul and funk and my uncle got me into rock, what's the problem with this?.... BTW, I didn't start making electronic music till I was 23 and hadn't played viola for 4 years.
Could it be that there is a correlation between becoming interested in music at an early age and later on in life getting involved in music? I had friends in school that were into theatre at age 12, and funny enough went into theatre in college and moved to New York to continue their goals. What's wrong with taking a hobby and pursuing it?           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Dunno perhaps i will be more happy if i find a "different" biography for some artist for example .
Since ive read around 20 they were all metal at 12 , techno or whatever elctronic at 13 , psytrance at 14.
Since you are all up to evolving from one genre to another in periods of 1-2 years , but since most of the artists are in trance less then 2 years im expecting them soon to leave in another genre.
Minus the ones that really had the same bio, but damn man you cant make me think they all do have passed the same.
Dont write around like fools that youve been "occupied" with music on 12 age. (we all know every human being find music pleasant at 1 year oldness but dude children do not occupy themselves with nothing, neighter with music)
So start writing you real musical career, not what youve been fond of as a child, if so write that you also collected stickers and watched a lot of porno on tv or smth.
Stop tending psichology on the listeners, act psichologically with the music not with the sci-fi i was this that stories.
And sorry men with my text i made you not to find yourselves in it, but there are ones in it. (since i study mathematics which contains the theory of probability)

Dear volvox box , i think you are abit wrong in ur thinking , as one with such biography that is prity close to what you said i dont get why you think i am or any one ells is lieing ..i know for a fact that in israel most of the trance artists realy started with rock bands at the tander age of 1314 ( at list the ones from my range of age , late 20's) just becouse that was the big thing back then , so the underground bands where more of a youth bands that where mainly first experemnts to us , but it was so big , there where tons of talent competitions to preform in them , and i personaly remember my first band when i was 14.5 on 9th grade , we came number 5 out of 15 in our city hehe ..any way , the other thing that your saying about when ppl started to play the instruments is redicules, if you didnt know how to wipe ur ass when u where 13 then u had the problem , let me give you an exsample. i have 2 sisters , thay have 5 kids all togehter from 3-7 years old , my mother ( wich if you read by any chanse my bio is a profesional clasical pianosist) is teaching 2 of them wich are at the age of 6 and 7 ! to play the piano for a year now ...I on the other hand took on my hands one of the young boys wich at the age of 5 is lerning to play the guitar and i iven instald on his! comupter "fruty loops" wich the kid is allready useing ...now i could say i have a birlient famely wich i do;) but i dont think its out of the ordenry , ppl start lerning to play music from verey tender ages for hunders of years ( mozart..) and it is a verey important step in your becoming a musician , if you jump bitwin difrent kinds of music all the better , then when you seat to make your oun music you have biger veraiety of influenses ...

just my thouts thow , you dont have to agree

cheers

i believe that a lot of us honestly when we were 13-18 listened/played a lot of diferent sounds and tastes of music and therefore build a criteria which at the same time help us to define what we think is music and we dont know whats coming out of the speaker...... no matter what the genre is.. aight?
on my case not as an artist here* so dont quote me here. i start listening a wide varierty of music at a early age my dad played guitar in a rock band and listen to a lot of progresive rock and stuff from the 70's, pink floyd sure was all the time there. while my mom basically was the oposite playing regional and traditional music from Mexico, some cheesy 80's pop singers and the almighty Depeche Mode ohh thanks mom!!!. my theory about the parents influence in their child music tastes....... I sang for a punk/hardcore band back in 96-2000 and had a side project where i played guitar and we were just a drums and guitar making some sort of hardcore/crust... that was just something that i felt like doing back then and honestly help to build and discover new ways to express feelings to make other feel them with music. i have choosen and gotten into many things fot the heck of music i think that the saying... I a punker,I m a trancer, I m a raver... the labeling of one as product is bad thing to do we should see the music as something that you coulda use and enjoy making...I never though there something wrong if i wanted to go to some wharehouse rave where jimmie van M o Sasha where playing in my hometown which was also something i loved to do at the same time.... i grew surrounded by music and some music like the one i played and sang for years made me discover something new back in 1998 the flouro album by Paul Oakenfold and therefore a new genre a new sound of trance that just made a twist in my head it was astral projection and the song Kaballah thats when i discovered what the goa sound was all about i started buying every single one of the distance to goa i remember that!LOL i see the music as the best drug, the medicine for every ill and every ill needs diferent medicine as the case is needed so in this case would be more easy for me to understand why the artist you talk about got involved into psy trance because is the smartest and fastest not really the fastest but closer!. music made to release and dance and so does hardcore and punk rock on me. what it was and how i felt identified with it how all out of a sudden put a smile on face. i wouldn't critize if another person says they started playing whatever genre at the age of 12 or 13 go to your nearest junior high school and find out!. LOL anyhow we're humans and humans emulate to find identity and become something i've seen some amazing childs of 9 and 10 years old playing the guitar 10 times better that what i would ever do and believe me i did i have pictures to prove it. LOL

Ok now, so we should take it this way:
If i was fond of playing with toys when i was a kid im supposed to write that in my professional toy making career ?
And dont get me wrong but i have two friends that proffesionally play guitar in bands (not metal or rock or whatever simple music) but ethno, classical music which is much harder, and yes they started at 10 - 11 but damn they speak themselves that then the knowledge they had was neighter close to put it in your musical biography, as they said it was fun then, they just klinged those already done accords fro known bands, they didnt create anything, and that is not a musician, but interpreter for fun.
So dont make me declare myself professional toy player, since i started it from 3 and im still doing it.
Or a big carreer musician started playing casio synths at 3 doing it today still on a computer.
Its fuckin bizzare cant you get it ?
Put simple facts for example : my first dj set then on that festival
first release there on that label on that comp or whatever.
You are computer scientist after you get a degree at university, not in the process of learning aint you, while you still learn it you cant declare yourself that?
And why the fuck am i studying computer science at 22 years? as in psytrance there are also talented people that could finish university at 14.

If this is not a true fact im blabling about, and all of those artists where a part of a trend (trend to play in bands back in the time, what actually is a need of being "someone" in early age), god blessed me and wasnt a part of that trend and i dont create "trend" music today. Trend music as we all know lives with the trend dies with the trend.
Trend? God damn like im found in a hip hop or pop culture not psytrance one.
And im fuckin tired discussing this its obvious no need to go on . .
One only word to describe this phenomenon : HIPERBOLA(magnification).
