There are some albums for which you fall in love with right away (like old infected, hallucinogen, talpa...) but while going back through some of the stuff i don't listen to frequently or that never made a lasting impression on me, I'm finding that some cds have grown on me over time:
Hux Flux - Division by Zero (Spiral Trax)
V/A - Reefer Madness (TIP World)
V/A - Fairy Tales (Alchemy)
anybody feel the same way about other cds? |

One the has grown on me is:
Absolum - Wild (TIP-World) I never really liked it in the beginning. Thought it was ok. Now I think it's a great full-on album.
One that I liked immediately:
12 Moons - Solid State (Candyflip)
"Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Come on, this topic is about releases that has grown over time, and some of you mention albums and compilations released a few weeks ago?
Anyways, another album I think needs mentioning is S>Ranges "Space". At first shallow (apart from a few tracks), but after half a year or so I gave it a few thorough listens, and it really opened up. I now consider it one of the best albums released in 2003. DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

I found HUX FLUX - cryptic crunch a bit too much when my girlfriend sent me a copy whilst I was away in Canada, but it really grew on me and I now consider it to be one of my faves..
Also SHPONGLE - tales of .... It took me quite a few listens to comprehend the new direction the music had taken; the magic that was so apparent on R U Shpongled? was layered behind more complex time structres and beats, but I now play this album and find myself saying 'How MAD is that??!!'
And for recent releases ANDROCELL - Emotivision didn't quite make sense to me; I instantly loved 'dub crystals' and 'fungus garden' but found the rest to be a tad awkward... Now I fookin' love the whole disc, the music flows at a really nice pace.
That'll do for now. .

Kox Box - The Great Unknown ( actually I liked it from the first hearing, but the felling for it and the understanding of this one grew immencely after a year of listening. There are damn cool things hidden in the background of this CD )
Chemical Brothers - Surrender ( same same effect as Kox Box album )
Atmos - Headcleaner
