Age Limit on Admission to parties

This is a bit OT but one thing I really hate is how everyone thinks I have drugs for sale at parties, and how almost every time I go out I get a hard time from the guys at the entrance. When we were going to Samo last year the police ransacked my entire bag searching for drugs.
It's just amazing how they manage to pick the wrong kind of ppl. I never smoked a cigarete in my life, never got really drunk and never took any type of drug yet every time someone has to make sure that I really didn't

There are many all age clubs that don't even get looked at twice by the donut hole'rs.
Our main problem is that we, whether we like it or not are thrown in the same category as ravers in the US. Over the years there have been many problems at these raves, so the US authorities are trying to and already have passed some laws that hold the owner of the venue and the promoter accountable if any illegal activity takes place in their club/party. "Usually", the cops can't harrass and come in and mess with people without reasonable cause. If there are minors, that is reasonable cause. |

Another issue in regards to age that no one has hit upon here in the States is the fact that in most of the US there is a curfew usually at 10pm Sun-Thurs and 11pm Friday and Saturday. The curfew applies to all minors. (those under the age of 18)
It was the bane of my juvenile existence and the first thing I did the day I turned 18 is stay out all night. The first thing the cops do to a lot of undergrounds if they can't find any drugs and all the permits are in order, is check to see if there are any minors there after curfew... It's petty, but a bust is a bust is a bust.... I agree that it sucks, but one must remember the golden rule: Whoever has the gold, makes the rules. And we unfortunately in the grand scheme of the country we have copper.

It is my opinion that under 18's s/b supervised. I allow my son (16) to party with us. |

this is really sux! but here in brazil it's hard to they ask your ID, only in pub's.
i go to see dj marky (dnb), and i have only 16, to enter in the pub u have to be +18 and i make a reply of my ID in photoshop with the birth date 02/05/1983 (the real is 02/05/1985). LOL.. and i can come into the pub! imagine my face when i get in there! LOL!

well i m not up to age limits but its for sure an edge to walk and i can understand them, altho i'm still a minor...til next monday
i never had problems to get in somewhere, i dont see limitation much in switzerland, and if there is u also happen to know someone who knows another one;) tho i once had to return from the gates where some clubevent happened..
