Just a few word about testing from our "Public Security" minister aka Sarko about this problem, taken from his recent speech before the Senat :
"Je n'ignore en rien les aspects sanitaires de la problématique de la consommation de produits stupéfiants, ni l'absolue nécessité de développer dans ce cadre des actions de santé publique, et des politiques de soins.
Mais, il faut veiller à ce que cette politique réaliste ne soit pas dévoyées à d'autres fins, comme elle l'est pour le "testing" pour l'ecstasy. Les pouvoirs publics sont-ils obligés de soutenir financièrement des associations qui testent la qualité des pilules d'ecstasy pour que les consommateurs puissent les consommer "proprement" ?

For non-french speakers : he said he against testing, against the state funding of such operations and against the mere idea of "clean" comsuption of ecstasy...
So much for new laws...

There is a French crew also, called TechnoPlus, doing drug testing and most of all, information during techno and trance parties.
The only thing is that, people should invite them, and nobody does it.

well first i would say i'm not against testing
i'm for doing the testing not in the party but individually at home
i think we must concentrate on the information in the party and move the actual drug problem outside the party
as for technoplus i think lots of trance organisation invite them but they decide (by vote) to wich event they go and most of their staff are into hardtek & free party sound so that's where they vote to go
probably also that's where the people need them to go
how many od do you see in trance parties?
off course too many because it is sad to see that happening
but not so many really compared to other scenes

I totally agree with you when you say that we have to move the drug problem outside the parties.
But isn't this playing blind ?
We all know there are drugs in parties, more and more people just coming to sell and not even liking the music.
I remember the Freaks out, where some came, only to sell and began to dance only when the sun came out in the morning...
I know this is a never ending story...
And I think there is no true solution 
Regarding TechnoPlus, I remember there was a testing area at the Gaia X last yar, who were they ?
Anybody know ?

Well i made a mistake..i didn`t saw any od in trance party but... who knows what can happend tomorrow, a few years ago some extasy pills were made with a brand new molecule called 4-MTA and killed in around 20 ppl in france and many more in europe with testing we can prevent this. So sorry OD was not the appropriate words...
Second thing, to be honnest wich pourcentage of the party ppl are buying drugs directly on the spot? so for that majority what is the meaning of doing testing at home? |

well humous the meaning is to organize people to buy the drugs outside the party (that's what i mean by at home)so that we won't have this drug selling problems or dealers!!
imagine....
yes vanessa it was a technoplus crew at the gaia last year
but to say things clearly:
you bring in testing at your party : you're sure to have also the police!
so i think the choice is clear, let's move the problem out and maybe we could have more parties!
and for humous if we don't let the dealers in our parties then we won't have this 4mta problem
this can only happen if people buy at the party...
we need to stop this way of getting the prods

So what's your solution to put the dealers out? To me you way of thinking is an utopia you are far from the reality... as i said testing is not only..etc...
But if you have an idea in order to thraw away the drug from our party let me know...
