sorry but u guys are way out of order here... IMO a trance party is a place where u can do anything you want and no one will give a flying fu*k.
this image of rave = drugs is as worldwide factor, and it is a fact dont try to hide it because that is part of the scene, it may not be part of the music but is part of the raving seen, have a look on the dictionary what rave means it might elaborate ur mind.
about 2-4 years ago a similar new report came out, but it lasted for the whole week on jornal hoje with reports and video from celebra in pratigi, what happened since then? absolutely nothing.

all we r saying, is that for those who CAN´T stay in a Rave without taking any kind of drugs, do u really think they are going there for the music??
I agree with u, that in a party, u should do whatever u want to, but I insist, are drugs really necessary when u just get HIGH with the MUSIC IT SELF?? That is the spirit of a Rave!!

i think the parties r wicked because the freedon, do what u want and scape from the fucked structure, where we are controled every day on every way, drugs and eletronic music are melted both,they are together,, how you think that music came to this evolution?? how do you think psychdelism came so far?? maybe who is against the drugs on parties want all that people there only to sell their cds with they cheesy pop crap and cheap music!!!!tranforming people on robos controling their lifes like the goverment!!! wake up every one and dont bring this crap politics to our free world..we fight for so long to smoke a joint without discrimination and now we want control our-selves again?? for god sake !!! wake up!!!! WE NEED FREEDON!!!

DRUGS ARE AGAINST THE LAW!!!

drugs will always be aorund in a party my brothers,thing is the "face" of the scene needs to change so it can still exist u guys get that??
or do u think this disneyland would go on forever?

@ chicchan03, dude drugs are absolutely not cool they are far from being 'cool'.
What I was saying is that in a psytrance party ppl should be have their freedom, it is a place where their shouldn't be any discrimination against anything, being, colour, race, drugs or even sex.
@ sequipa, sorry mate but u are going off the top here, countries such as holland and england have downgraded their drug system in other words have allowed class C's e.g. cannabis to be legal and semi legal, what has this shown? a down fall on the use of class As and Bs including heroin, cocaine, Es, acid etc... enough of the drug talk... if raves (parties) are illegal, it wont mean that they will stop, their will be enough ppl and illegal parties to still go on as it already happens in countries in europe these parties take the name of 'squat' parties. we have to face it, drugs will always be asociated with raves, it doesnt matter if 1 or 1000 ppl get arrested they will still be going around.
sorry if im coming across as in favour of drugs which I hope im not, im just coming in as a balance, I think both sides should have a reality check ASAP and see that their is no way of fighting back each other.
brazil is a big country and their is no way of the police finding every single party, some maybe busted, but true organizers of illegal parties will have 2-3 party locations set up just in case the other gets shut down... that would be good for the public as this would be the end of thousands of ppl in a party it would be back to the underground and where true lovers of music would be willing to take this mission.

im just being realistic
1st of all we are speaking about brazil and if u are one if us u know very well how things work here
we are a 3rd world country with 3rd world laws and politics
i do belive that if such laws that pass in holland and england work and i dont doubt that... and i pray to god that something like this happens here some day
but for sure it wont be now
cause if laws that forbiden raves get passed in brazil
the police will be more than happy to kick some asses in a party in order to stop it
we have seen this kind of behavior of our felow policemen more than once
so its all a huge snowball bro u get me??
the party is just one thing.... cause many issues come along like the safety of the ravers,djs,promotores etc
yes we are afired form the same ppl that should protect us
for sure parties will never die,,, there will always pvt parties going on in some way.
but u can forget the EAW sound system,that project u dreamed of seeing,a well organized food aeria and bathrooms u can actualy use
cause who makes pvt parties dont actualy invest in this kind of things.
yes i realy miss the underground scene but
the underground scene for sure doesnt pay the bills for many man
cause many ppl depend on trance to live me included.

Now all this issue spins around money, people are actually noticing that organizers must be earning alot of money (some yes some on), but on the eyes of others it is what they can see "these guys are getting money. so how can we prevent that? lets tackle the drug issue, give it a bad PR." now i must say undercover cops trying to bust drug users is an offense where as they could be doing better things and trying to solve bigger problems, then a bunch of junkie teenagers.

I was in Brasil last year for 1 year..and went to many little parties and festivals...I love Paulistas, but the scene is very commercial down there & it is about money...the best parties are..like Cachoeira Alta and the Trancendence ??? I think have the best vibes..they are in places where you are free...Some friends of mine were arressted in some parties in Rio too. But the little parties in Trancoso & Arrial...muito legal !!!!!..Simon Posford played these little gigs...but one friend of mine was at Solaris this year, it had an amazing line-up but he said it was not so good, so I agree..these parties should be cleaned up...but I must say the Trance scene is strong and HOT in Brasil !!!!!!!!!!

And as I said b4... Long life to the roots of this scene... it can be with full_on, prog or dark... but please may the ppl be there for the music and may them respect one another and eachself...
