ABOUT RUMORS OF NEW LAW STOPING THE RAVE PARTIES IN BRAZIL

First hello everyone , im writing becouse in the last week , we could wacth 2 articles in brazilian television ( record and globo )showing raves parties and talking about the high consuption of druges. After that , i heard some rumors that the police and the government will deny this kind of parties. How it is just a rumor , i wanna know what you people think and know about that.

I really don't know anything about it, and i haven't seen any article on newspapers, i think and i hope,just like u said, that it is only rumors...

I think we need to organize our people and make something about it.

It is known for some countries banning raves at all, and then coming back to the law and not allowing any outdoor raves, and only allowing raves at clubs, where their is supposed to be a better control with drugs and etc... this is what has happened in the UK, but their are still plenty of squat parties, parties which do break this law, and even in summer are a few outdoor raves 
IMO if a law like that was impossed it wouldnt affect much of it since being in brazil and with a vast spaces of land, and no neighbours calling the cops on you since they do not live anywhere close to where u are hosting the party.
I still think that this is a silly rumour, but even if it is not, I would not worry a single bit, parties like this will still happen years to come

You guys have to do it yourselves then. Write to newspapars, set up websites giving balanced information. Point out the positive sides and yes drugs are consumed at raves but put it into perspective with drug consumption at other types of parties etc. |

Well I don't believe it... there's already a kinda of "lobby" created, just like an inflated bubble that will be hard to be popped out while there are lots of crowded parties, cash involved on them and most of all, respected sponsors on the gigs... be sure that they're the one who don't wanna lose this market share |

The right of come and go and the right of speech and expresion are guarateed in the constitution... such a law would breach thouse principles thus it will never exist and if some one ever tries to make such a law (as they did in Rio) it will fall very quickly.

This law exists at Santa Catarina. Parties there, only indoor and finishing at 9 oīmorning. |

Tile, I am aware of that and such a law was passed in Rio but it was brought down with the argumentation that I gave here......
BTW No one can stop u from making a party and if you donīt advertise it they can't say it is a comercial party so my guess is wille u don1t knock the law down just have nice PVT praties and LONG LIVE THE ROOTS OF TRANCE!!!

heres whats going to happen
all big party organizers are getting together to make one big law suite against this proibitaion of openair parties in brazil
this lawsuite will be national...... the party promoters are also contracting a big media company to "clean" the face of the scene reguarding drugs in parties
and for sure
will need everybodies help
for sure somethings will change in a party,for ex:lanca and free smoking of joints,and anything that will contamin the face of the scene, will not be aceptable.
this is good to serve as warning to all of u that think a party is drug free zone.
its not and put that in your head!!!
dont try to say,,, ohhh how can i go to a party and not smoke a joint and stuff like that,,, if u think this way

then u are the kind of ppl that dont belong here.
cause if u realy like parties u will understand that or its this way or the highway
so now is the time for each and everyone of us help out.

If some people canīt stay in a party without getting stoned, please, those who canīt do us a favor, donīt go. Your presence is not welcome. We have do to something about the image of raves. Just like the TV networks said terrible thing about Raves, we should write to newspapers, magazines, TV network, trying do make up the shit TV networks did to us. Are Raves the only places u can find drugs? And a belive, that one of the problemsis that, these parties are starting to get very comercial. Flyers been delivered in Schools, adds been post in very popular avenues??? Cmon people. Lets focus on those who really apreciate the music, and are always with their(ours) spiritual presence, always supporting the artists, who make music just to please us, and see us dancing and rocking in those parties. For sucho thing, we donīt need to get STONED like every 70% of the people!
I just hope that this changes! until that, all we can feel is said.....=(

sorry, what you wrote there is not very nice...
Thatīs very īseparatistī, if I can use that word.. Its like: You want to smoke joint? You cant come here
where is the Respect, Unity and whatever?
Now, what I mean is, its not about saying that nobody can smoke joints.. Its just saying that people need to be less īopenī about all these things.. Yes, smoking a joint in the most visible place ever, taking drugs and selling freely, or talking about what drugs you are taking openly on the internet is not good for the image of the scene, but you cannot prevent someone to smoking a joint in his tent, or somewhere a bit more hidden, taking his drugs without screaming about it to everybody, etc...
you know what I mean? Its about īnot wastingī, and not about being radical.. Its very unreal to think nobody will take any drugs or smoke any joints in a party.. but its good if you want that drug use to be less open so that the image of the party stays good and we are allowed to listen to this incredible music without law problems

i had no intention to say that, maybe I expressed my self incorrectly. what I meant is that, if people cannot go to a party, and hang out, without smooking a joint, cīmon dude!!! is that a REALLY HARD THING TO DO?? iīm not saying to prohib it, but control it. like u said, u donīt have to show to people u r smoking a huge J of hash!! keep it to your self and the people u want to share it... thatīs all!!! and Iīm really sorry if I gave that impression...

Hello friends! This is a matter that I always imagined that would be aim of questions some day. Use drugs in parties is not exclusiveness of the trancers. Each kind of party is going to bring his, I find that we must is going to use this same tv, magazines, inform about the abuse of drugs in other parties in that the police neither arrives nearby because has fear of the people. As we are all of pacifics and do not we use weapons it polices has more facility of act. We should show our intelligence and defend ourselves relating about the other parties of others kinds musicals and show what really happens in the Brazilian night. |

hello everyone again ... I want to say that im very glad with all replys, but 3 of them in special(sequipa,it_peiote_killer and herlockalien). Agreeding with the 3 replys, i want to complement saying that what get me nervous is that kind of people who goes to this parties to use druges ! they know nothing about the music and spirit of rave , but they go there only to use druges ! it really need to stop ...that is soo bad to the image of the partie and to people that know everythink what a trance music means... |
