You can make fun variations to the rhythm of an arp (or anything for that matter) by changing the delay amount on grain delay.
For instance, I have a 16th note arp pattern that goes for 32 bars. I have the grain delay set to 4 to start and every 2-4 bars I alternate between a delay of 4 and a delay of 2 (then playing with pitch is fun here too).
I've also had fun with using the beat repeat set to gate on a send channel.  http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

My Song Template is simply a live set with Stylus RMX, Omnisphere, Sylenth1, Zebra, Bazzism, Phosycon and a couple of return tracks chock full of Uhbik racks
So...idk if its like Cubase but you can accomplish the same thing.
What are you talking about 'pro tutors seperate FX channels' I don't understand.

Cool way to abuse warp markers:
I have an audio clip that is 3/4 of a bar long and I want it to be a bar. Select the entire bar and consolidate, you will get the 3/4 bar audio segment with a blank part on the end.
Now, grab some of those markers (or make some yourself) and slide them to the grid markers - you can get some strange stuff doing this.
