Thx guys... I do my best... I've been off travelling the US for the last two months, and just returned back home to a big pile of CDs that needs to be reviewed....

When it comes to reviewers I've always liked Basilisk insightful reviews... Also, props goes out to pr0fane, Krelm, Aje, Shahar, Pavel, Surrender, PKS, Dam1on Psyreviews, Candy, Traveller, KakoOlalaJwal, bluespectralmonkey and a whole bunch more I've forgotten right now... Keep it real!

Never bought albums based on reviews. I always listen a lot to online samples before I buy albums. Only if they manage to capture my interest after repeated online sample listens I buy them. Music is all about personal taste, so reviews are (to me) only to warn people if something maybe extremely bad or good.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. ok ... not buy, but get you interested in listening to it? Getting your attention to it? Maybe even making you reconsider a 'bad' CD? ... the path from reading a review to acutally buying the CD is not a to b - there's lotsa in between... at least that's how it should be in my case.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

I never said reviews don't serve a purpose. I just wanted to say that people should always make up their own minds after reading a review. I mean, that's why we can listen to samples at the online shops right??           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. thanks for the mention deathposture...

so many of you are writing very well thought out reviews... you can tell easily who's really listening and whos just writing...

i always check the reviews before buying ... and rarely if ever check samples from online shops...

also miss Lauryn has been busting out some great reviews lately. go girl!

Aww thanks guys

It's incredible how much time some of those reviews took.

Man I hope Isratrance stays online forever. Must be bloody awesome to come back to read what you wrote, say a decade earlier. I just read my Prometheus review and pretty much remembered how things were back then, 2 fooking years ago, feels more like yesterday

thanks Mat

I found these especially useful either cause i agreed with them, or their arguments were good enough for me to reconsider my opinion.

hi! it is great topic here. cause i used to write some reviews for russian resources myself so im usually pay much attention to reviews here.
first of all i want to thank people whose reviews i have translated or used parts of. detox, bluespectralmonkey, kakoOlalaJwal and mubali. thanks a lot ppl!
and also i want to mark profane, deathposture, sam i am, surrender, rah, guy cohen, krelm, shahar, saylum. also moondancer is extremely good though his texts not exactly reviews.
pavel, pks and acidhive are good at writing too but i dont usualy share their point of view. anyway thanks - there were many useful materials.
big thanx to all of you. more then 2 years i read this section and it is always interesting reading.
