This thread is indeed great promotion, I didn't know you put out anything since the minimal creamcrop days

Seriously though, it is generally understood that a musician must at least spend as much time promoting his/her music than making it. I don't know of a single musician in ANY genre that isn't promoted in some form or another.

That might have something to do with it... I tend to ignore anything they put out. In fact, this album of yours seems to have slipped right by me, and I even check the shops and give most things a listen.

As an idea, you could think of sending the people who reviewed any of your previous albums a promo... *cough*

I dont listen to this style so i dont know. Dont take anything im about to say personally. Just an opinion.

1. Dont blame it on the people.

Maybe not enough people bought your CD. Why?

a. Poor label promo OR
b. Music wasnt appealing and the reviews werent too hot.

2. No bookings?

a. Once again lack of promo OR
b. Music wasnt appealing to listeners.
c. Its upto you and your label to send out promo cd's smartly to party organisers hoping that they will enjoy the music you make. Remember these days its the artists who are after organisers not the other way around. Why wouldnt an organiser just call a Skazi & Infected Mushroom when he can make a LOT more of those artists playing @ his parties. And that is offcourse subjective as well, i guess you need to be in touch with the right organisers.

Anyways this topic is beyond my scope.

However, it is sad you lost your passion for this music. But remember when you point your finger at the listener, you have 3 pointing back at yourself. Im almost certain more from your behalf would have atleast kept this project going.

Nonetheless i wish you all the luck for your future endevours whether they are musical or not

Theory of natural selection i guess, survival of the fittest. This genre is indeed a harsh reality.

Take it easy mate

Cheers & goodluck
