well i know its really late but i just had to put my 50 cents here.

So, as funny as it looks this is the first outdoor empire party i attend.. the last empire party i've been to was in purim 2 years ago in tel aviv playing with huda G and yali as far as i remember..

It's great to see an evolvement of a crew through time especially when its done so professionally.

SO for the review.. arrived quite early to the site, great location first time for me there (not really familiar with this side of the desert although im responsible for finsding most of the negev mineralim sites back in the days..) road there was easy enough and not so exhausting..

Setup was great, sound was very crispy and clear and VJ girl knew what she was doing alright!

musicwise: heard the last hour of yoss's set was great got all the people worming up with great buildup and good mixing. less housy than usual which was appropriate for the event way to go yoss!
After him my man Assaf took the decks and presented how a proggy night should sound like except some minor glitches in the mixing caused by a monitor+arak problem it was generally a very good set! right on spot
After him came Yotopia who gave exactly the right style and momentum to the party great stuff some known some less but all in all great vibes.
then came Capo, not the first time i hear him (was the best live act on voov 2 years ago definitley!!) but was eager to see how the music fits the location and the crowd and it sure did!! very powerful set showing people you can dig holes in the ground also at 137 bpm! after the live he played a DJ set also which started a bit weak imo (especially after the powerful live) but after 3-4 tracks he built it up again and stormed the desert away ! was great stuff mu highlight of the event! i had to leave early unfortunately so i couldnt hear Gabi but i heard it was awesome!

Was great seeing all the familiar people and especially the northern gang lead by alechko cyber punk who i didnt see so long time! and hope to see you all soon again

Big thumbs to Boris Rafi and Ofir you rock dudes!!

ah yes!! and forgot to mention the highlight of the party! watching huda G and Yuli hofrim in the middle of the dance floor and the dust for hours!! (for me also it was one of the longest dancing session in a long time all through the party almost)           DJ NADI EarPeaks music Group (Domo/Tupan/Gat music)

nadi! this is not what we talked about!
you where supose to back me up,
and say it was a smooth set with no glitches what so ever!
isn't this how things work here in isratrance?heheh..
btw nadi. it was not arak.
it was milk. like yuli said. milk is for DJing. i like milk.

anyway. indeed. a great great party to remember. everything has been told. thanx again borris rafi and ofir and the rest of the crew for inviting me, i had the best fun.
all DJ's played wicked music!
it was hard to play a set with no liquid soul and yotopia in it.
and thanx for all the kind words. cheers,
assaf(domo).
