PETER GUN: – ‘Friendly Fire’ Album Sampler œœœœ Millennium Records Aug 2006

Almost in its outset this is one set that needs to be played repeatedly to really appreciate what they have done. There seems to be a thread of a theme running through the set, but not entwined in vocals, this is in the instrumental production and delivery. There is so much to follow, it is like watching ‘Phantom’ for the first time. I like ‘I want you’ and ‘Dreamtime’. Through the summer’ makes for a neat finale to the set.

Ok so here's a little background on the artists for those interested........starting with Chromosone.

Chromosome – new album “Scandianvian Full on Stormer” Out in September 2006.
Started: 1999
Around 25 releases on Transient, Turbo Trance, Medium, Spiral Trax.
Plays at Full Moon Festival, Ozora, Soulclipse, Tranceformation, Trancendence, Sola Luna, Boom, Rhythms of Peace festivals. In this moment spirally mind bending music is being forged in a studio smelter in a similar style as Logic Bomb & Bamboo Forest. They just released a VA compilation where Chromosome selected the best Scandinavian hits at the moment!

CHROMOSOME - THE GENOME PROJECT
Chromosome is a “High Energy” act that has its HQ in the famous Trance Mecca Örebro in the middle of Sweden. In 1999 Anders Nilsson started producing the new style of trance that he had heard on the forest parties around Örebro. Logic Bomb, Hux Flux and Miraculix were pioneers and showed the way of the new sound. Anders Nilsson teamed up with Serba Milojevic and soon after, they made their first release on Spiral Trax Records. It was a success and they produced music for various International labels like Transient Records, LoopSnoo Records, Turbo Trance etc. After touring around Europe and making music with a number of skilled acts in the scene, Chromosome decided to start working on the album ”The Genome Project”. Serba left the act later on and was replaced by the DJ & Producer Peter Malmberg. Peter’s heritage is from psychedelic trance and through Peter’s skills the sound changed from the well known progressive sound to a more psychedelic and high energetic groove.
”The full lenght album ”The Genome Evolution” is a High Energetic, groovy and atmospheric travel and is an incredible uplifting journey”
