well I was listening to Kamasutrance (radio darom) this Thursday since I wasnt listening to this show for some months..
this show is nothing to do with progressive trance just full on.... but also to full on there is some styles......
besides 1 cosma track and 1 gms track all the 2 hours were pure astrix-clone stuff..... what a nightmare !!!! they all had the same bass line I swear !!
Im get sick of this !
Im speaking to the artists right now : plz at least try to do original stuff... didnt asked much

i had the same thing at the rave-o-lution festival.
i think i hardly heard any full on since then.
and i don't understand why someone makes music sounding like someone else's? i really dont.

GMS is much darker and technoish than Astrix. But it's all fullon and both GMS & Astrix got their imitations.
Why? Because it's popular, it sells, and it makes people dance. Mainstream - why does everyone sound like Britney Spears?

i think full-on, as a style is a clone, cause it's softened Goa/Psy trance. It's quite a formula- bassline, kick , groovie line and so on...
It's done nicely by some, but most of it is pure "filler" tracks, i think...

Hey, why are you complaining! People listen to 2 hour DJ sets just like that EACH AND EVERY PARTY. The only organizer crews that have so far abstained from this are the Domo crew, and to a lesser extent Gabi & The Twins (which have gotten close to this once or twice, but never full-fledged). This is what people like. I used to complain about this, but I was immediately swarmed with 'GMS ARE THE BEST' and 'ASTRIX IS BETTER THAN MINIMAL, SEE HOW PEOPLE DANCE!' replies.
It won't change, for every person who wants something original, there are five that are happy with Growling Alien Safi Pulse (Astrix Remix) sets. I'm also thinking that Son Kite, Tegma, Vibrasphere, Ticon and so on sets aren't much better (unless the DJ has great technique).
Sets that seem to appear every party with many different DJs and organizers... That's giving the crowd what he wants, creativity, experimentalism, innovation being not important. Let's call it by it's name - this is THE definition of commercial.

I didn't say it isn't. Of course I like this music, it's happy and moving. But when everything sounds exactly like the others, something is wrong here. A lil bit of originality never hurt someone.
But people prefer to do what's selling and works at parties. And this is the result.

for me still there is a lot of original music at the market. this full-on mania indeed have to be changed some day. let it flow, something gonna happen like it was with nizhonot or soemthing.

 prosect  you are tottaly right.
you see, after some time with cloned full on we got some new stuff from the comic trance gang (pixel sub6 etc...) 
innovative producers will always be there, but i'm not sure if people will be open for changes after they have listed to the same style for too long.

back in 2001 we had cloned minimal...
that year all parties had minimal...
then 2002 came and full on came back bigger and better then ever.
i much prefer cloned full on then cloned minimal.

i dont know where the problem is sputer.
i like it when every track sounds the same. its even better when its built up the same way all the time. so that u can look forward to the entrance of the kick and u always know : now comes this sound!! now this baseline!!! now that sample!!!
